Jumping in to 99,000 feet above a planets surface(in altitude), while launching Vipers, then 1,000 feet from the ground Jumping back to orbit, all in a 1500 meter long ship(4,921.25 feet) that is 30 years old...

To put the fictional Battlestar Galactica in context, the Battlestar Galactica is about 4.45 times longer than a FORD class Nuclear Aircraft Carrier(1,106 feet), the Galactica's two landing bays are bigger than a Carrier each...
