Try eating true Traditional Mexican cooking. I was thinking as I watched that tv show. Please stomach, get a grip and hold it down. If it walks, crawls, swims or flys. It is on the plate for dinner. The chef was really starting to cross me line at mosquito eggs and whole fried frogs.

The grubby finger adds flavour and texture - unless you are veggie in which case :-( No. We must never let those little cheeky digits get away with anything even if they are naughty adult paws. Grubby fingers are an acceptable veggie snack. In fact they make up a good part of our diet. .. Toasted Smarties.. Caramalised and hot gooey choco centre.... and cheese... ... Mmmmm. |

I prefer to make my own pizzas using pita bread as the base. Good call. I use shop bought nan breads. Top them with bits and shove 'em under the grill. The little creatures in my life love them.. because they can add anything they like. Mind you a smartie, cheese, doll's broken foot and grubby finger pizza can be a little hard to stomach sometimes.. |

To give yo an idea of the difference in ingredients between a cheap US and a cheap UK pizza .... .... ... One of the interesting (if you are a perverse veggie like me ;) ) things is that food laws in the US and Europe (UK-ish) allow for a different description to cheese and quality of milk. I may be wrong but I suspect the allowable (and accepted) percentage of hormones and mastitis puss in milk (cheese) is far higher in America. You might think this is horrid but what it means is that American cheese Pizzas are far richer in hidden complex ingredients I am in a general sense a Veggie but in reality you can't be a vegetarian if you eat fish, eggs or milk. (I do the milk thing.) Fish, eggs and milk are animals. Well milk is not an animal but it is the product of injecting animals with hormones or killing the baby animals that would otherwise drink the milk we love to steal. I've never eaten an America shop bought pizza. I'm sure they are wonderful. Is a pizza or pasta Italian? Can a recipe be traditional if parts of its ingredients are not native? In England most see 'Chip Shop Chips' (fried potatoe chips softened in their own steam in paper wrap, perhaps with salt and vinegar) as traditional. Potatoes are South American.?? A traditional Friday night treat in England should actually be fried turnip slices and battered red squirells with a splash of quince sauce.. food.. who needs it .:)~ |

To give yo an idea of the difference in ingredients between a cheap US and a cheap UK pizza heres the list off a basic "tom&cheese" from one of our supermarkets: Ingredients I buy these and use them as the base for a "fancy" pizza. The base freezes well (provided you've got space to keep them flat while they freeze...) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Yeah, but at least it's edible, here if someone wants no artificial anything, either the manufacturer has to go along with that idea by being pressured by the public, or you make the pizza yourself, good food can be expensive here, I'm lucky if I don't spend $100 for a months worth of food, but then purists are called Foodies over here, I'm not picky, not on My budget, I just do the best that I can with what I get, and I fight against any cuts too, like in a petition against the draconian cuts by the administration, $3.3 Trillion over 10 years, while the military gets an extra $500 billion over 10 years, disgusting, but I digress. Heck. Not even our dog Tosca eat crap like "Supreme Pizza". She likes our food better then so called dog food. My food is also by far cheaper than processed dog food. And by far more healthier! |

"real Parmesan" doesn't mean anything is the USA as we aren't part of EU attribution by region doesn't exist. So cheese made in the style of Parmesan is sold as Parmesan and of course that is cheap and plentiful. Legally if Mozzarella is used(this applies to all ingredients), only a certain amount has to be used, just to be factually correct, even Imitation Mozzarella, does contain Mozzarella, though in what amount is known only to the people who made the pizza, since that is a trade secret. Oh and the pizza's went in the oven Frozen. Here's the list of ingredients of those 2 pizza's that I had, and that's all that is legally required, at one time, all you see there was not required, and unless a business decided to do this, it would be a trade secret. I had the pizza in the oven for 25 mins, at 400F, on a cookie sheet, in the 2nd from the bottom rack position, needless to say the crust was not limp, the crust was crisp, just the way I like pizza. Sorry I did not think of taking a pic of either pizza after I had gotten them out of the oven. My Amazon Wishlist The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

My nephew is from Liverpool not far from Manchester. About 30 kilometers I think! They are called Liverpudlians but are more often described by the colloquialism "Scousers". The word "scouse" is a shortened form of "lobscouse", whose origin is uncertain.[14] Reminds me of Haggis, Swedish Pölsa:) |

While the denomination "Emmentaler Switzerland" is protected, "Emmentaler" alone is not; similar cheeses of other origins, especially from France and Bavaria and even our Nordic countries, are widely available and sold by that name. Emmentaler dates to the time of ancient history. Here we make Grevé. Perfect as a Pizza topping. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grev%C3%A9 |

And what means "Mozzarella style cheeze"? No, because the two cheeses are made differently. If you were making the pizza topping and couldn't get any Mozzarella for that stringy texture then I suppose you could use either or a mix of both the Swiss cheeses emmental and gruyère. They go stringy. As used for that seventies favourite fondue dinner party. |

I was slightly wrong on the brand of pizza, it's Mama Rosas, not Mama Mia's... This is the best I could do, without taking a photo Myself. Which I just did. My Amazon Wishlist The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I like the type of parmesan you buy in blocks, like Parmigiano-Reggiano. I have a metal rotary cheese grater just for such cheese. The mind is a weird and mysterious place
