Maybe I'll go to the ER soon, the Doctor always wants Me to go there, but then He's a family doctor, they don't even have a scale that reads My weight, I'm lucky that I don't break the one they have.

Right now I'm a bit weak, plus I'm digesting dinner too, a meal I cooked from scratch, I forgot to add one ingredient to My dinner, flour. Oh well, next time.

Vic. If the table is not an option. Is laying down on the floor possible?

Vic, this is a no-brainer. Go to the nearest ER.

That I don't know, I'll ask.

My guess is either a jagged kidney stone has torn the inner surface, or cancer somewhere in the urinary tract.

Ultrasound is done with a handheld scanner, so you should be fine on whatever bed or table they have that can hold you.

The real fun is when they want to send a camera and other things up there to look and maybe fix it. That will have you in major discomfort for a few days. I know -- I did it four years ago.

If you are bleeding, consider 911, and tell them your weight. They do have the ability to transport you.

Currently I'm not bleeding, if I was transported, how would I get home afterwards?

Barstow Medical Center is 12 miles away, I can't come home by cab, and "dial a ride" needs coins to ride, no I don't know their phone number or how much the fare is.

Doctors can order that you be transported back in certain situations. I think your condition could warrant it.

I will, having two or three cell phones worth, in area, of blood lost is not
something I like, to think I used to be a bit squeamish at the sight of blood.

Not to sound like a worry wort. But my dad waited almost too long before going to the ER. My stepmom made him go like it or not. He was feeling weak and had her help him in the restroom at the ER and while inside he had a full cardiac arrest. If he was at home… Don't want to think about it.

As long as you don't pass out from blood loss while driving and kill all three of you. I'm sure your friends will understand you cancelling the trip to Barstow if you're in the hospital.

If you recall, a month or so after my kidney stones four years ago, I went back to the ER because I was weak and could barely breathe or walk. Turned out I was anemic from blood loss. They gave me four units of blood.

(BTW, I've been having pains recently in the same kidney. Probably another stone.)

I'm not having any blood loss at the moment, that doesn't happen by itself here, if I were it would be very painful, and that is when I have blood loss.

Given where you're losing blood, you probably would see it.

I didn't have any pain from my bleeding, just gradually increasing weakness, and I didn't see anything either (until after I'd been in the hospital for a couple of days).

The point is, don't mess with this.

Ok I have a complication, My current Doctor won't fill out forms, so I've had
to change Doctors, which in this town is almost impossible, I made an
appointment for Oct 17th, cause of paperwork and such, I can't go to the ER
until this is done, since My current Doctor is not meeting My needs,
going to the ER would complicate things.

IEHP - Barstow, CA

2 Family Doctors and
1 Internal Medicine(heart & lungs I gather),
those are the only ones in Barstow CA who accept IEHP.

IEHP = Inland Empire Health Plan

Medi-Cal

None...

I do need to go to the New Docs office and pick up some forms, but until the
Doctor there is My Primary Care Physician, I can't do more than make an
appointment at the moment, which I have done.
The forms I have to fill out before My appointment, I can do that before the 17th.

Yes, I'm feeling ok, I've had some pain, but no blood.

The form is a Medical Baseline Allowance Application, the form is from SCE,
I've filled out the front, but not dated the form, the backside is for a
Medical Doctor(MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathy(OD) to fill out.

Yesterday I scanned this SCE form into the PC on both sides, and made sure that
the pics would print out as Letter size, so yeah I could make more, though they
would take up 2 pages and not 1 like on the original, since I do not have any
inkjet type printer, just a dot matrix printer.

You do not need a primary care physician to go to the ER. Waiting five weeks for what could be a severe medical condition is just plain.....
