As you well know the Monarchy is hereditary.

I didn't know that...
There are both Hereditary and Elective monarchies.

But he can 'pardon' himself as happened in 2004, Benedict out, Francis in.

Answer to Major,

That was one hell of a reply, and thank you sincerely very much for all that information, a lot of which I have to admit I didn't fully appreciate before. Really good stuff.

Yes, it was a great reply, as usual. I'm always glad to read what he has to say.

Before the city of Louisville, which is the seat of Jefferson county in Kentucky, merged itself with the county, we had a city Mayor and a County Judge Executive. Boundary lines for the main city inside the county were ridiculously jagged, and people who lived in one area but worked in another were paying two taxes. Streamlining services and making one government for the whole county has helped, but we still have dozens of little city hold-outs inside the county who collect extra property tax and maintain their Barney Fife police force.

who you advocating , Obama's wife ......Say what !!!!!!!!!

Advocating? Not really. But...

#1 - Michelle appears much more competent than Hillary, and Barack - of course.

#2 - Michelle appears to be much smarter than Hillary, and Barack - of course.

#3 - Michelle is younger, and appears more energetic than Hillary, Warren and the other aged, too Left Wing to win, Democratic Contenders. (O'Malley is just a wimp).

#4 - Michelle doesn't come with the same 'baggage' as Hillary. And doesn't have Hillary's track record of failure.

#5 - No matter who the Republican Nominee is: Michelle would become our next President.

Just a bit of advise for my Democrat Friends.

I agree there Clyde I would seriously think about it if she could be convinced to run and her husbands legacy doesn't make people prejudge her .

She is or was a Lawyer right !!

So she is not stupid and I haven't herd anything bad about her neither .

I guess it's still too early for the media to be covering it, but I wonder who the running mates will be for the top candidates.

Perhaps you should court her:)

Democrats? No idea.

Republicans? If Fluent in Spanish Jeb, doesn't win the nomination: Possibly Rubio.

Can you imagine Rubio, on Telemundo and other Spanish channels. Speaking Spanish and taking questions, in Spanish, from people in the audience?

Additionally. he is young and energetic. Unlike the Tired and Old Democrats.

I agree it would help to have a Spanish-speaking ticket. If Bush doesn't get the nomination, I can't see him playing number two, though. Likewise, definitely not with Trump.

the problem with these surveys/quizzes is whether the writers are correct about the parameters. are their assumptions about the candidates' platforms correct? are the candidates liars or inconsistent? for example, i thought obama was great in 2008 because he was going to be the anti-bush, but then he turned out to be similar or worse than bush in several issues such as foreign policy, national security, transparency, and others. the candidates can say all the things you like to hear, but they may end up going back on their promises.

the quiz does have some usefulness, though, as many people, including myself, don't know the platforms of every candidate. assuming that the writers' research is mostly correct, it does serve an educational function.

I predict that Trump is going to be our next president.
Sans some major cockup on his part. Which, as outspoken as he is, could happen.

Whether this is good or bad, I am not sure at this point.

He at least has the balls to tell it like it is.
Unlike our current president, who has no balls to speak of and lies through his teeth with almost every word coming forth from his mouth.

Funny: all of the Republicans scored within three points --between 80 and 83 while the two socialists scored 36 and 27 percent. Rick Perry was ahead of Trump by 2 points ??

But don't worry he win's you will still be a dead peasent and your employer will be able to make a lot of cash when you get ill and start costing him money so he'll just phone up the insurance company and reduce the health coverage and then you will die and he can profit your kids get Jack from your death as your wife will have heaps of medical bills that the employer didn't pay .

How do you lot think this has been allowed to happen !!!!

Scott Walker wants to build a wall on our border.
If that man starts building, I wanna' be there to
watch it being done. I recommend that the wall should
be started right here in Alberta, please!
