and if the WU results exist already, they're not done all over again).

Don't they keep track? Or are they just trowing in any tape that happens to be sitting around?

It needed to be split again for MB. While it's there, the AP splitters take a peek, just to be on the safe side. There was one over the weekend which generated AP tasks from about the first six channels, but not the rest. I'm assuming there was an error the first time round which meant some got missed - so the re-check was worth while.

How is that only one splitter is running on 10oc11ab? Several times there has been 3 splitters running one file.... Or is it just SSP?

Last channel left standing - all the others had finished. And so has that one now.

And I assume that AP peek is going on now to 17ja11ac...

It's either peek, or poke, nobody really knows :-)

Hopefully it isn't puke.

Hi,
What's up with uploads? 4 or mins with repeated retries to upload data!!
Thought that the new network was supposed to be better than before.

Hi Grumpy,
Yeah, well south.. server doesn't seem to be ack some uploads either, not just taking a long time, I've had to do multiple retries on all my completed WU and it still fails more often than not.

Now I wonder where we've seen this before? Dratted router cable unplugged?

Regards,
Cliff,

That explains why my "All Tasks" list is 7-8 hours old.

Great this choppy work. Got a 01my15ac that's putting 99% load on the GPU every 30 seconds, for 5 seconds, time in which I can't do anything with my computer. You ought to figure how much fun it was to type this then. ;-)

Looked at its AR, but am not sure anymore what a VLAR or VHAR is these days: <true_angle_range>0.13099845040794</true_angle_range>

Finally gave up on that. Pause GPU while computer is in use. Only thing that made it possible to have hair.

LOL, it looks like it's all **my15a* tasks. I've had 01my15a* and 05my15a* do it thus far. I see some 02my15s, 04my15s in the cache, and see that I shouldn't work on my computer tomorrow with BOINC running. Got seven 0*my15a* still in the list.

You can always check with http://www.naic.edu/vscience/schedule/scedfra2.htm.

Only one I can see using the ALFA receiver on 01my15 is P2030: looks good for Einstein, but are we really expecting ET to be living near a neutron star in the inner galaxy?

That would be a very strange life form.

@Richard

Can you do an update of these chart:

OK, here's a pretty rough estimate, based on what has passed through my machines. I've taken the launch date for SaH (MB) as being 1st. June 2013, and everything since then as being done by v7 - it's easier to work in complete months.

The 'TOTAL' column is what I've posted in the data distribution thread, and hasn't changed at all since the start of 2015. The v7 column is what I've done since that simplified launch date, and the v6 only column is the difference between the two.

Recorded TOTAL Processed with Processed with
SaH v7 (since Sah v6 only
launch June 2013) (derived)

2007 350 4 346
2008 911 869 42
2009 546 455 91
2010 748 99 649
2011 1121 147 974
2012 843 583 260
2013 588 536 52
2014 232 232 n/a

I'll have a look on Tuesday - beginning of next month - which is when all the data gathers itself onto my main analysis machine anyway.
