... Also not heard from David for 4 months, I hope he is OK and it is just his job keeping him away... I did get a PM from him back a month or two ago. I think he is just busy. |

Here's a new scene I'm working on. It's going to be a cooking oil recycling business. They purify used oil from local restaurants and ship it to biodiesel plants. It's modelled after a real business that does this. I just added lights today to the loading area, and will be adding the main building soon. I'm putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all, I think, that any conscious entity can ever hope to do. |

Can't see much of it, but from what i can see that's an excellent looking setup there. Grant Darwin NT |

Brilliant, and so topical! I enjoy seeing "odd corners" in exhibition layouts because that is often where the modeler really goes to town in a small space and tiny detail. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Thanks for all the kind comments! Hal what scale is that? It's N scale 1:160. I've been working on it for about 1 1/2 years now. The trains are all DCC (digital command control). Here's another shot of the layout. All the LED lighting is hand-made by myself. I'll try to get a good shot of the whole layout, and when I finish this next small scene I'll update you all with a couple of pics. Still a lot of work to do on the whole layout, many scenes yet to complete. Thanks for the interest! I'm putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all, I think, that any conscious entity can ever hope to do. |

Here it is - the oil recycling business, modeled after a business with the same name as on the building. Took around a month of work off and on. You might like the next little project too but not saying yet what it is for suspense LOL. How much space do you have for this setup? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

How much space do you have for this setup? A corner of a average bedroom - it's an "L" shape layout about 10' x 7'. I'm putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all, I think, that any conscious entity can ever hope to do. |
