Ok, I've just come back to Seti@home after a few years and everything installed and appears to run fine. However, I seem to be having problems with the work units that use the GPU. They're the one's listed with (0.00242 CPUs + 1 Intel GPU) under the status tab and the application is always SETI@home v7 7.07 (opencl_intel_gpu_sah)...

They always make it to 99.9xx percent and just stop. If I suspend them and then resume it causes my display driver to stop responding and restart. That's what Windows tells me.

Any ideas on how to solve this? My system is:
Yoga 2 Pro
Intel i7-4510U - Intel HD 4400 (driver 10.18.10.3496) - 8GB Ram

Might be better to post this in Number Crunching under Community tab above then Message borads. That gets more visits than this location.

Have you tried turning off BOINC and restarting it after the driver crashes? Not familiar enough with the Intel GPU app to suggest more.

Yes, I've restarted BOINC as well as my PC many times. Since I'm running a decently powered laptop/ultrabook, I wonder if there is a way to just do CPU work units... I've turned off using the GPU under preferences on the website and through the manager but it still downloads them...

You can only turn off using the GPU in the project preferences, not in BOINC Manager. Here you can only tell BOINC to suspend it or use it when the computer is idle or not.

If BOINC still downloads work for the iGPU after you unchecked its use in the project preferences then you have to look at whether or not you're doing this for the right venue. If the preferences are changed in the school venue, but your computer is set to use the default venue, changes won't be followed.

To see what venue the computer is set to, goto your account, view computers on this account, details of the computer in question, check what location it is set to, and if this location coincides with the venue you changed the project preferences at. If not, make sure they're the same and save changes to the website with the "Update" button.

It's set to Home

Quote my whole post, leave one line at the bottom: not very helpful.
Which 'It' is set to Home? I asked you to check two places, the project preferences venue/location and that of the computer. Are both set to Home?

Do know that people helping here are users just as you, but users who have experience with the software. We shouldn't have to do 20 questions to get information out of you. You're looking for help, you should be as informative and eloquent as possible in describing your problem and which steps you followed on trying to remedy things.

What you can also do is post the first 30 or so lines of the BOINC start up messages. Always useful. You find these in the event log after a BOINC start. CTRL+SHIFT+E to open this log. Copy everything from the top to where it says "no proxy" and post that here.

And well, if not, {shrug}.
I will stop trying to help you if you don't really truly want it anyway. Can spend my time better.

Maybe a newer display driver will help: see https://downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=4th+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+4400

Calm down. I appreciate the help, but you only asked me what it is set to in one place... Going off of what you suggested: "To see what venue the computer is set to, goto your account, view computers on this account, details of the computer in question, check what location it is set to, and if this location coincides with the venue you changed the project preferences at. If not, make sure they're the same and save changes to the website with the "Update" button." Doing your direction shows that it is set to Home
