I just started SETI@home, and the screen saver graphics look really cool, but I don't know much about what they mean. I think one of the processes our computers do to the data is look for triplets in the incoming signals from Arecebo, but I'm sure there's much more being done with the data. Can someone tell me more about what my computer is doing to the data? (or point me in the right direction.)

Very cool info. I've got my laptop and PC rigged to boinc nearly 24/7, so I may be able to catch to some of you guys :)

Best of luck crunching on SETI and other cool BOINC projects you may come across. Like you, I have a couple laptops that are 'punching above their weight' from a crunching standpoint.
