The story is focused on the main character, Tetsunosuke Ichimura, who is an energetic, short and very childlike fifteen-year-old. He and his older brother Tatsunosuke are left to fend for themselves after the vicious murder of their parents. While Tetsunosuke wants to get revenge, his pacifist brother is not so inclined. "Tatsu" joins a special police force dubbed the Shinsengumi, as an accountant to earn a living, his brother "Tetsu" wishes to join as a soldier to seek his revenge. The story chronicles Tetsu's trials and tribulations as a struggling page craving redemption. He develops relationships with all the legendary members of the Shinsengumi army helping them with their various struggles as he constantly battles his own against himself. At the story's climax, Tetsu discovers himself and the overwhelming responsibility the power he is searching for holds.

Damn, I forgot about Chucky's crowning this evening. :-(

Thankfully I have a few various shows that I can catch up on via streaming services instead. ;-)

Cheers.

I have a suspicion that Rob has at least one eye on the television today. I just woke up a few minutes ago and it is going full steam ahead. I am six hours behind London on the clock.

watching to see if the TV weather person is telling the same story as my windows which are currently showing it to be tipping it down so stopping me doing some working in the garden - thus I'm working through some old Time Team on YouTube.

I watched it quite by accident. Just now I'm seeing clips online of the Grim Reaper who, apparently, visited the Coronation quite unexpectedly.

Well Chucky's crowning is about all that was being shown on my world news feeds so I've still been streaming catch ups here this morning, but a scheduled power outrage will be happening in about 90 mins I'll be doing some reading downstairs by the fire.

Cheers.

I assume you have found there are two Time Team sites, but if you haven't or others are interested in archaeology then they are https://www.youtube.com/@TimeTeamOfficial and https://www.youtube.com/@TimeTeamClassics

Yesterday I watched the movie 65. It wasn't great, but it was a good-enough waste of an hour and a half. It's one of those movies where you basically know what's going to happen but you watch it anyway.

I have one beef: One synopsis says, "After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills quickly discovers he's actually stranded on Earth -- 65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at a rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa, must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures." Other synopses are very similar.

All synopses that I've seen say they "suddenly realize they're on Earth." No. No, no, no.

There is absolutely nothing in the movie that indicates that they know they're on prehistoric Earth. Nothing. WE know they're on Earth because the synopses tell us so. But the characters don't. How would they? If the movie's story takes place 65 million years ago, which it must in order for them to crash on prehistoric Earth, then there's no way for them to know that this is Earth and what is about to happen.

What I'm saying is that this needs to be removed from all synopses. (Not that it makes any difference.)

So there's that. It pisses me off.

Between totally uninteresting sporting events, totally brain dead reality shows and well over repeated movies I've been catching up on missed episodes of Back Roads (registration is free and series 1 has run out of time) which is all about small Aussie country towns, villages and the people that live in them from the coast to the outback.

But now that I've finished that series off I better find something else to catch up on.

[edit] I found a few episodes of Grand Designs New Zealand to catch up on tonight.

Cheers.
