I've got a freebie coming from Red Box. I think I might get A Quiet Place.

Watched The Shape of Water. I could have done without the explicit sexual scenes.

Just popped Poltergeist into the VCR in the living room, and am going to lie down on the sofa and watch that. Good Night.

I did a double feature at the movies.

First up is

I liked it.

Second up on the big screen.

Really liked it. The visuals in 3D are good. Just only one question. If you shrink a van or office building. How can you walk over and pick it up off the ground?

I watched the first three episodes of Castle Rock last night on Hulu. It's based on Stephen King's works. So far it's very, very good. Unfortunately Hulu doesn't release its series all at once like Netflix. We have to wait for new episodes to be available every Wednesday. There are three episodes available so far.

From the Hulu site:
Castle Rock: A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King’s literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories such as Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption are either set there or contain references to Castle Rock. Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller — a first-of-its-kind reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.

I am watching Mars from the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles via NASA TV but it is black and white on my Linux Chrome browser. Firefox cannot view NASA TV, I don't know why.

Nothing wrong with your browser.
They are sitting in the dark that make it look black and white.
However the images of Mars is in color.

You are are not an observer are you?

Amber Alert....

So many TV series these days end in cancellation...

Fringe went all the way.

Loved Walter and Oliver. Licorice sticks.

To look in the looking glass is easy.

To accept and live with what looks back...

Well that was Fringe.

Good call Phud..

I watched Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. It wasn't what I expected, although I'm not really sure what I expected. It was good but the ending was a little weird.

I renewed my DVD rental account with Netflix. It's the fastest way for me to see current movies.

Next up is Victoria & Abdul.

I loved Three Billboards! I was so happy Frances McDormand won an Oscar for that role.

Victoria & Abdul was interesting. I suppose many of the details were not entirely accurate. "Dramatic license."

I just watched the first episode of The Sinner (USA Network). It seems like they already know "who dunnit." I guess the rest of the season will be digging deeply to find out wtf is going on.

There's a nice show on the Viceland channel called, "The Ice Cream Show". Basically, the host goes around to different ice cream parlors and interviews the owners and shows what they have to offer. ~Some unique ice creams. :~)
