What has everyone been watching on TV lately? New and old shows, or just anything in general. Is anyone excited about any shows that are up and coming?

I have been watching the show "Falling Skies" and it is okay. I have got through about 5 seasons of it and have still been more than mildly entertained.

Anyhow... I am trying to get active with this community again since it has been so long.

I wish I could get into a new series of some sort.

I've been watching Doc Martin on public tv, and don't make fun of me, but reruns of The Waltons, too.

My TV is out and the DVD drive is wedged tightly in a different case, at least you have more than the net, I hope.

Besides the two aforementioned shows, Lori and myself mostly watch DVD movies.
Last weekend it was Cake and Run All Night.

Cake was an amazing bit for Anniston. And a real watch for a couple of people like Lori and myself who both know the ins and outs of addiction. We could understand every essence of what she was trying to portray, and knew exactly what was going on in her portrayed mind.

I am on vacation, and we are probably going to see the new Terminator on the big screen some time next week.

Yeah, it's a rehashing of the old franchise, but we LUV Arnie...LOL.

Meow.

I have been enjoying Falling Skies, but I was under the impression that it had ended. I need to do some more research to see if its still airing. I really hope so to be honest.

As far as what everyone else is watching I have considered many of those shows at one time or another. But I typically sink into one show until I complete it.

Jennifer Anniston picks good movies to be in. I just read a synopsis of Cake, and I'd like to see it.

It is not exciting...more of a character study. And if you understand her, you end up rooting for her to make the right choices.

Lori and I both understood it, like, totally. Lori is a forever recovering addict, successfully for many many years now, and I am still an addict. At times, it was like...............oh no, she's not going to do that.....and then, yup, she is.....just like we used to do. Oohhh, noooooooooo, don't DO that, gurl...

You'll understand if you watch it.

I forgot about Eureka, but I did watch it a bit when it was first on. Had a Northern Exposure feel to it.

Terminator Genisys , just finished watching it . If you like the Terminator movies you have to see this one

Matt Smith aka: Doctor Who is in this one but you will just have to watch to see .who what and why he's in it

I give it a 10 fantastic

Owwww John Conner is he good or bad in this one and is Skynet finally defeated ??????

All though Arnie has been out of Hollywood for some time his comeback in this one puts him back on top for action hero actors
