I'd like just one CPU AP Workunit if ever AP is split at a rate faster than an evaporative dripping.
More would be nice of course but I'm not greedy or selfish.

Ok, I have figured out how to keep Boinc from detecting the changes to the .cl file and replacing it. Now I just need to get some tasks to check the changes. The changes do increase the run time a little, but since it allows more tasks to be validated, I'll live with the increase.

That means that it has already been done when that happens. ;-)

Cheers.

For the first time since I can remember, I have absolutely zero APs in play.
Nothing whatsoever, even pending.

If they split any soon, I'll miss out again. GPU is working on a Genifer 22 task from PrimeGrid. 33 hours in, with about another 40 hours to go.

I think you should be safe for a few more days - we are only about halfway through the last batch of Arecibo work.

Hmmm - Wasn't there some talk about possibly trying some AstroPulse runs on the BLP data, or was I dreaming?

No, you weren't dreaming. It was mentioned back when Breakthrough Listen came online. I don't think any movement has been made on it as the developers had other fires to put out I believe. I'll have to dig around in the posts to find the mention.

Thanks Keith - We can wait on and dream of a day when we have so many APs we don't have time to process them.....

Eric had indicated to me that splitting AP work from Guppi data was going to be done quite some time ago, but he was too busy with other things at that time.
I promised never to bug him about it again, so........
If somebody wants to know the current status, somebody else is gonna have to ask him.

Nothing.....As usual.

Well there isn't going to be a wealth of AP work until if and when Eric deploys splitting it from Guppi data.

So, did anyone take Mark's suggestion to 'poke' the Eric bear?
