2 resends here; 1 timed-out, the other a third opinion on validation inconclusive.

Looking at my current WUs, it appears i scored a AP WU yesterday when I wasn't looking.
Massive boost to my presently depressed RAC, now it's not falling as fast as it was...

Anyone else notice problems with the AP validators ?

https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2803014238

Not a big issue as it will probably sort itself out when the deadline arrives.

I've had 7 resends since production ceased and I'm still waiting for 3 to validate.

[edit] and just talking about it just scored me an 8th resend.

Cheers.

Well, my antiquated junk has grabbed 3-4 resends in the last few days ... All luck of the draw, I suspect.

The more work that 1 requests, the better the chances of receiving. ;-)

Wow, look at that! A 2018 Aricebo tape splitting APs. Who'd a thunk it?

I have one stalled in the download queue along with about 50 MB tasks. Interesting to have a Jan 18 tape already.

Whats this?

An AP WU running on your CPU.

Looking at your WU run times, if you were to reserve a CPU core for your GPU WUs it would improve your processing times.

If you put a file called
app_config.xml
in your Seti project directory
C:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\setiathome.berkeley.edu (if it's installed on the C: drive)
with the following contents

 <app>
  <name>setiathome_v8</name>
  <gpu_versions>
  <gpu_usage>1.00</gpu_usage>
  <cpu_usage>1.00</cpu_usage>
  </gpu_versions>
 </app>
 <app>
  <name>astropulse_v7</name>
  <gpu_versions>
  <gpu_usage>0.5</gpu_usage>
  <cpu_usage>1.0</cpu_usage>
  </gpu_versions>
 </app>
</app_config>

And then in the Manager select Options, Read config files, to use those settings, your processing times should improve.
