Hi Bob!

How far through is the task?

I checked on it last night. It showed 95% done, expected 26 hours remaining, but about 17 hours until deadline. The status had changed to "high priority", so it shouldn't be suspended to run WCG tasks anymore, at least.

I have my fingers crossed. I haven't checked on it today.

That task I was worried about, mentioned above ( https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2703915863 ), finished a few hours after the time limit and validated (phew!).
18 days 13 hours 12 min 13 sec ( = 1,602,733 seconds) CPU time! That might be the biggest WU little Pipsqueek has worked on!

I see, though, that the WU has been given to another computer to crunch on as well. Will that task get cancelled before it starts, or will someone else's CPU time be wasted re-doing the same WU?

Usually, in these kind of unusual and uncommon situations, the third computer will get credit too if it completes successfully the task. Once a task is issued by the servers, there is no way to recall it.

LOL, I got a laugh reading your comment. I have a Pipsqueek too! Host ID 6279633

Some pretty lame WUs in the last week, few and with very little 'meat on the bone'.

This has been an impressive AP run, I have received 82 so far in this batch - but not nearly enough on my Windows machine where I want them.
