I almost wish the splitting would stop for 2 days while I process these. Then another feeding.

I tried crushing up some Viagra and sprinkling it on the GPU's ... but only the wires got a 'boost' :)

Umm i just clicked on that link and i'm confused you are talking about Zalster'ss rig yes ....

If so then try this link

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/hosts_user.php?userid=212841

sorry your link only shows the errors he has and when i searched for the user i could not find him so clicked on his name and then on the computers which is where my link takes you .

Question for Zal,

Were you running smaller cards in that computer before? In the last 2 months since it was created? And your average hasn't calculated yet?

The reason I ask is because you show 500 GFLOPS with titans, my 750Ti's show 400 GFLOPS (on AP)

If those are the real performance numbers ... I couldn't justify the price of titans.

No, This is a brand new machine. New MoBo, 4 titans at the very beginning. So there hasn't been any change

Running multiple instances will reflect a lower Average processing rate than running only 1 instance.

Yes I am running multiple APs/MBs per card. As per Hal's explanation.

Thanks hal,

I thought that page was suppose to show performance by device, and not per work unit.

So it's basically useless numbers.

Well it is titled "Application details for host". Then displayed each type of application separately. For GPU comparison you only need to know how many instances someone is running on their device. Average processing rate * instances. Same with the CPU as well. Where instances may or may not be equal to the number of cores/thread the CPU has.

I have just 1 task left to run out of a total of 169, so as the WWE's Guy likes to say "FEED ME MORE, FEED ME MORE, FEED ME MORE"!! It felt great to run AP's again after the long drought, but unfortunately I don't think it will last.

I don't buy computers, I build them!!

Damn!!

I should've taken my CPU MB top up 1 day earlier than I did. :-O

I could've had both my CPU's back to crunching AP's by now otherwise. :-(

Cheers.

Well darn, darn and triple darn!!!

My computer crashed and something got corrupted, all tasks went to error on reboot, couldn't see anything in my client state files relating to SETI files, had to reattach to project.

So BONIC abandoned 95 AP tasks, I see some familiar names who got them ... So you are welcome :D

Does anyone know if BOINC will clean out all the WUs I have in my folder? they are all errors and not trying to run. Maybe I will leave them for a day, then delete them.

Aps have been split quite nicely for almost a day and my GPU caches have been filling so slowly that I have yet been able to get any for my CPU cache.
