Clear skies with a few clouds and still dark out. The Moon, Jupiter and Venus are parading in the sky. Yes Julie it has been really bright in the sky, when I go out in the AM for coffee and donuts at 5 am they really stick out. I'd like to stay out and watch the sky but it's been pretty cold and I need a parka to keep warm. I have a 102 MM telescope which does pretty good up to 57 power but after that I have a hard time handling it. I do have a 50 X 100 glasses but they are 20 pounds. Still having showers tonight off/on so I guess I can go out and do my happy dance. :))) |

35°F/2°C, fair. Humidity = 70%. Great Horned Owls, briefly, hooted, last night. I hear owls early morning (day break) and just before dark, I have never seen them so I have no clue what kind they are. |

Amazing streak of weather we have going here..... Early December, and we have mid 40's forecast for almost a week and a half! Way above average, which is 33 today, 30 in 1 week, and 28 the week after. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

It has stopped raining and at about 09:30 they said that the peak had been past and things should improve here. My thoughts go to those who are just to the North who have it worse than us. |
