Sorry to hear that.
Having grandparents on my father's side that immigrated from Germany, his music was quite commonly heard by myself when I was a young lad.

Rest in Peace, James Last.

Well, Ulihon....

How much of what is posted in the cafe is connected to Seti?

Folks have been doing this for some time now.
It is a way for us to pay tribute and respect to some that we have lost and shall miss. And who have impacted our lives in a positive and sharing manner.

Actors, musicians, some in the scientific community, and beloved pets as well.

I think it's a fine way to honor those we have lost. And given the advancing age of many of us here on Seti, we are losing many fine fellow travelers.

Surely there were many tributes to these Setizens on their passing.

Are you saying that you do not want any threads here mentioning the passing of famous or influential people.

These people did have an influence on many all over the world and I think people here wish to show their feelings

Whilst I don't comment in these threads unless I feel personally affected by their passing, I think it would only be a problem if passing Setizens were not being remembered, and I know they are by many.

I don't think having an RIP thread for someone famous is disrespectful to any of those Setizens.

Those famous people get recognition here, I'd call that a great honor! Any recognition is a great honor in my opinion.
