Cheers

Thanks, Cosmic_Ocean, I had read your post and tried that first. But when you spin the blade a vibration can be felt. After oiling it still was very tight and the vibration was still there. The tech at Micro Center said he hasn't seen that particular failure in 6 years. Probably a mfg defect.

Ah, well it was worth a shot.

I just took a look at the SSP and noticed something odd...

27my15oz
27my15pa

In the lettering system that we're used to, in order to get down to 'pa,' that would be 50gb tape #416, with 'oz' being #415. The all-time record I've seen is I think 'at'.

Wow, that does seem a bit off. All of my scripts I use for BOINC use a ??????a? string to identify the task names. Given that is normally the constant. I wonder what happened on May 15 to cause the data sets to increment so high.

I've seen something like this before. I think we had 'zz' and 'zy' at some point. We were all curious and wondering about it, and I think a response came from Matt that it was an experiment on some piece of code for the splitters and they needed an easy way to identify any of the WUs that came from the experiment.

That was Matt's experiment three years ago, 10ja10zz tapes, or simply just jazz tapes. I think this time it is just another experiment or test.

Loving the AP run, but I'm starting to get concern with more than 750 channels of MBs yet to do.

Not that I know what would happen if we hit 1000. Probably nothing. Just curious.

Both my rigs CPU's are back on there limits for AP's again. :-)

It's just a shame that my main rig had to take 9hrs worth of backup project work yesterday. :-(

Cheers.

?

The AP Assimilator backlog continues to climb. Now up to 1,200 and still climbing.

I am now expecting the entire Seti server system to fall down in a screaming heap, as my RAC has just hit it's highest level ever since the introduction of Credit New in May 2013.

From a quick look at the posters in this thread, 22,000+ should do it.

The easiest way to determine where the RAC badge lines are is to check the current number of Active users on one of the stat sites like BOINCStats. Then find the number for the percentage you want. Right now it is showing 110,367 active users. So that puts the badges at:
Top 1103 participants for 1%
Top 5518 participants for 5%
Top 27591 participants for 25%
You can then look at the project stats for top participants by RAC & see what their current levels are.

It also should be noted that the BOINC badge systems has been known not to update for months at a time. I'm not sure if it currently working at the moment, but looking at the badges for users around the values I stated. It would seem as though they have been updated in the past 24-48 hours.

Here i have the problem again!
Seti only send me work for the GPUs and the CPU is totally left out. One of them is already crunching Milkyway. I've set to get Astropulse, but i've set, it is ok to get MB, if AP is not available! So what is simply going the wrong way? :?
Aloha, Uli
