I'm also getting those warnings. Also noticed earlier today that the Astropulse v6 and SETI Enhanced categories were gone from the Tasks page. Phasing out old stuff?

Is it that they removed MB/APv6?

Probably.

If so, what exactly must I do to fix this?

Nothing - ignore it. It won't do any harm.

Once I have confidence that all the new apps are fully released, and that the historic bug report was a false alarm, I'll go back to working on a new installer release which will bring everything up to date.

Are you all running lunatics apps?

Yes.
Should I delete the Astropulse v6 stuff from the app_info.xml?

You must remove obsolete app sections from app_info.xml. I still had the app section for AP6_win_x64_AVX_CPU_r2163.exe, and got the same message, after the outage.

I removed that app section and now all is well again.

You may remove the sections if you wish, but usually editing that file - unless you're experienced in how it all fits together - causes more problems than it cures.

The messages are harmless, if irritating - see previous answer.

Yes Richard, "may" would have been a better word to choose from me. I agree, that if you do not know exactly how it all fits together in app_info.xml, it's best to just ignore it, and let it be.

I imagine this is one of the reasons the removed the "Messages" tab and made the Event log so it took some effort to open. Fewer people seeing "something wrong"

Nice to finally see the applications page cleaned up, as well as the project preferences.

BOINC on Prometheus posted a message under the Notices tab about this issue for me. Exeter has yet to complain.

Since I don't know how to properly edit the app_info.xml file, I will just let everything be.

Oh, and Exeter finally received an AP WU. Hasn't had one in A LOOOOONG time. :-)

Still wish both systems would pick up more than one at a time... :-(

Except that it's also in the Notices tab, which may cause panic on its own.

OTOH, since it only appears on systems running Lunatics, anyone who gets the message will probably check here for more information before taking any actual action. That's the only reason I looked in NC today.

Separate question: I also got a Notice saying Beta wants me to upgrade to the latest nvidia driver. Anyone know what that's about? (I'll check the Beta boards too.)

When I was on the GTX-275, on driver 266.58 on Prometheus, I would also get that message from Beta. I just ignored it. Beta still sent me WUs... (Even though the message suggests otherwise...)

Now, both my computers are on NVIDIA Driver 337.88 and I haven't seen that message, again. :-)

No uploads or downloads. I had about 10 stuck downloads when it hit, I was able to get those to redownload but nothing since.

But only the Replica database shows as offline, all the important functions are working.

And I was able to clear about 20 stalled uploads, report, and got 25 new Tasks (across 2 machines) about 20 minutes ago.
