I think the AP feeding frenzy, is about to come to an end soon. No more files added for a long time now, and only 17 channels left to split.

It was fun while it lasted though...

The good thing about some of my slower machine is that they can cache work often enough to never run out of AP work. Like my old Pentium M notebook. It had its network cabled knock out for what looks like a day or two. So it didn't get any from the newly split data, but I'm not it will feed of of the resends without any issues.

Yeah, my old Celeron M Laptop, now have 6 AP's. It takes 36 hours approximately to finish 1 AP. I think that during those 9 days of cached AP work, it will be able to get a few more...

Added: I think I will wait a while, before I allow MB's again. One never knows, there could be some more AP files being added to the splitters any time now :-)

I have only powered that system off for a few weeks over the past 2 years due to AP server or db issues. Otherwise it runs 24/7 overclocked out of its mind from 1.5GHz to 2.37GHz. Doing APs in ~18.75 hours.

Has a server or 3 crashed?
MB & AP WUs awating deletion are going through the roof, the MB splitters (while the status page shows them as green) aren't actually splitting any work, and the ready-to-send buffer is almost empty.

Running out of work, before an outage for data centre work, isn't a good way to start the weekend.

I'm really missing the network traffic graphs.
To go with no new work being split, downloads are becoming sticky. Almost half a dozen re-tries to finally get a batch of work to download. And we should be out of work in the next 30min or so.

I had them locked and loaded on a window at all times, and could tell in an instant things that were going on before anybody else noticed.

Matt has said that even he misses their departure.
And I am a little lost without them.

Well, since nothing comes out of the splitters, my GTX980 will be cold in 3 hours. And even if they start splitting full bore, and I will be able to fill the cache to the brim, it will become dead cold again, 6 hours into tomorrows outage.

100 tasks for the GTX980, only lasts about 6 hours....

Maybe I missed it, but was any indication given as to how long an outage to expect?

Matt said "we will be bringing the project down for the day". So I expect that means pretty much all day. Depending on who is doing the work, campus or the power company, they might be finished by the evening. Then someone could remote in to power everything up.
I'm thinking we won't see the servers back up before 6PM local SETI time.
