4 months old, lots of training to do, he seems a little bit on the quiet side or is it the only time he stays still enough to photograph him? Puppies can be a lot of fun:-) Kevin |

Same goes for cats. They are a lot of fun unless brought up incorrectly. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

4 months old, lots of training to do, he seems a little bit on the quiet side or is it the only time he stays still enough to photograph him? He has a limitless amount of energy. He's almost always running or playing. I got him as a playmate for Sonny (born September 7, 2015) and that is working out very well. They are both a lot of fun. I love watching them play. ~Sue~ |

He has a limitless amount of energy. He's almost always running or playing. I Thats one of the reasons that two (or more) are easier than one, dogs are social animals, they like company and they like to play together. Kevin |

New girl Callie due to arrive Wednesday from WA State courtesy of Toronto. A lot of energy in a small package:-) I used to walk my dogs with a couple that had 3 springers, they are a fun dog, like to run and play all the time, they used to run circles around my mutts. Kevin |

New girl Callie due to arrive Wednesday from WA State courtesy of Toronto. I have to admit that your announcement scares me. I hope you've not ordered a puppy off of the Internet. If you have, I hope you've vetted the source to ensure it's not a puppy mill. ~Sue~ |

I have to admit that your announcement scares me. I hope you've not ordered a puppy off of the Internet. If you have, I hope you've vetted the source to ensure it's not a puppy mill. Not at all. Let me clarify please. We have friends in WA State involved in Lucky Star Cavalier Rescue (where we got Gypsy Rose). They were puppysitting Callie as Callie's breeder (AKC Verified) had to go out-of-country. Callie is not showeable due to a slight underbite (doesn't affect her eating). They knew she was for sale to a good home and that after Abby's death we were having no luck with Rescue so she became ours. The friends' daughter (who has 3 Cavaliers of her own) lives in Toronto so as a present we're flying them to Toronto and tomorrow they're all driving down here to spend the day with us and deliver Callie |

Let's Not Hug It Out With Our Dogs We all love our dogs. But depending on how you show that love, you may be doing more harm than good, according to one expert. |

Let's Not Hug It Out With Our Dogs I think thats very true. Our dog doesn't want to be hugged so much. Especially not in a crowd. No. Let the dog come to you before trying hugging it. Dr. Marc Bekoff, a professor emeritus of ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Colorado, Boulder, says it's OK to hug your dog — sometimes. |

A man in Lianghe in China took care of what he thought was a stray dog. The "Dog's" huge appetite aroused his suspicion and eventually it turned out that the little fellow was not at all the man first thought. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLqns2ToLto |

Here's one I didn't create. This dog was abandoned when it's owner(s) moved out of a rented house in the town where I live. The dog is being treated by a veterinarian. The collection is to pay for the dog's medical treatment. https://www.gofundme.com/22qgth58 Any amount will help. No need to apologize if you can't donate. I understand, since I'm in that situation, too. ~Sue~ |

I got that phone call yesterday. Went out today to collect her, a youngish girl with an unknown history that for some reason was getting passed over at a re-homing kennels. Introductions with my resident mutt went perfectly, I think he was getting lonely since the loss of my Stella. So I am now back up to two fur rugs cluttering up my floor:-) Kevin |
