I see someone else has driven that magnificent product of Crewe, I well recall it as having a ride and handling a bit like trying to walk across a marsh in a gale.

Grapes, that white powdery covering you frequently see on grape skins is yeast. No need for any additional yeast.
In fact, if a person has trouble getting sourdough to do its thing, then one solution is to add a grape or two and remove them once fermentation has started.

Actually all fruit carry "wild" yeast on them, but that "wild" yeast is usually not the best thing for good results which is why most simmer the brew to get rid of it before adding the right sort of yeast added to get the best results. ;-)
