Congrats to everyone on your milestones! :)

My "new" Linux PC, Minty-Winders a dual booter with Winders 10, rushed past my "old" Linux PC on RAC. This, just after 10 days of running. I believe that this goes to show just how much better and more efficient Linux is on doing SETI work. I'm impressed! :) Just before I converted Minty-Winders, my "old" Linux PC had past my Winders PC on RAC. On to the next! :)

G'day all and congratulations to everyone on their milestones since my last visit to this thread.

Well after 90 days since my Linux conversion was done to my little old 2500K rig it has now passed the 10 million mark.

So after all its Win7 years (8 in fact with a few different GPU combos thrown in) it's already 1/8th of the way to equalling the old total credit running Linux.

Similar story here:

Linux version:                        Created 	7 Jun 2019, 21:51:07 UTC                         Total credit 	17,774,610          Average credit 	168,561.16
Old Win 7 with same hardware:         Created 	20 Jul 2016, 4:21:42 UTC                         Total credit 	25,486,281

So in 4 months it's done 2/3 of what it did in the preceding 3 years.

It’s just a glitch. I think the same thing happened to Tbar on a smaller scale. And in the opposite direction.

Basically subtract 1,000,000,000 from Juan’s host total and you have the real number lol.

I must of really had a good party that day to get the maths wrong twice, but my 3570K has now made that milestone and it took 2 days less to do.

I remember thinking it was pretty hot when my total credit hit 250k.
Just busted through a 250k RAC with the conversion of a second cruncher from Win10 to Linux.
Pretty wild.
