Nice result :-) Unfortunately he isn't the SOB that should have been tossed. He followed the recommendation of a career bureaucrat in the probation department who can't be fired and will do it again. |

That may be the case, but he was the judge & should have known better. After all how could that career puke take on a judge had the judge been tougher? |

After all how could that career puke take on a judge had the judge been tougher?Judges in the USA are essentially bound by the recommendations they are given and in many cases determinate sentencing which take the decision out of their hands. The issue was that recommendation wasn't out of line with many others that came to the judge. Get the problem? Judge = rubber stamp bad bureaucracy. The system on your side of the pond may be different. |
