I like children, but I couldn't eat a whole one.

Never try to impress a woman, because if you do she'll expect you to keep up the standard for the rest of your life.

Children should neither be seen nor heard from – ever again.

G'morning everyone, from the highlands down under where the temp is going in the wrong direction.

The wind here this morning is coming straight off the snow down the southern end of the range (snow down to 400m) and since I've been up the temp has gone from 5C (felt like 2C) down to 3C (feels like -1C) even with the sun out (severe frosts expected for the next 5 days, and maybe some snow).

I spent the weekend in a cabin out in the wilderness 20km east of here (an offer that I just couldn't refuse) amongst the tall trees and wildlife (both native and feral), but now that I'm back home I've got a brewroom to clean up and put back to normal (that should've been done on Saturday), though I've a touch of Mondayitis ATM (maybe another coffee or 2 will help with that).

Beer O'clock is just under 3hrs away and I expect a few mates will be around for it just to find out where I disappeared to the last couple of days, so I suppose that I better get into that room and do something.

Boy I have been burning my early AM hearing the Sons of the Pioneers with Roy Rodgers. Man the fast way to put me to sleep at night years ago. Now days I have to throw in a beer to top it off. :)))

W.C. Fields dry humour quotes were his trade mark back in the 30's and 40's, along with Mae West, and Groucho Marx. It was all for theatrical effect, which everyone realised. Those were the days when honest humour got a look in instead of this PC po faced attitude we have today.

Julie is very nice person, many have met her and can attest to that :-) And she likes her beer, what more could you want???

Had a kid over tonight at my GF's house who just got out of High school only to find he was in such disguest with his mother he changed his name and this is a true story. She is a total drunk and dosn't even sleep on a bed. at 56? give me a break! :(

He loves working with me and we are kicking butt in one day alone. He loves to work with power tools and finding out how to use them. I really think he has a bright mind and some day go places.
