I've been cleaning the aquarium glass with some non toxic acrylic compatible cleaner by API, works great, but 8oz? OMG

Note got a big one? Buy 2 or 3, I just cleaned the top and used a bit more than 1/3 of that 8oz...

Good thing I have only three more surfaces left to clean, two on the 125 gallon and one on the 5-10 gallon.

NOTE: The dirty areas have not been cleaned yet in the bottom half of the 2nd pic or on the plastic in the 1st pic.

Facebuck of course tends to think I'm trying to sell something and I can't turn off their intrusive buy/sell junk. It's their stupid, turn on buying/selling crap...

Still I am making some progress, API does work, but for the glass on the outside I'll stick with glass cleaner.

I made some more progress on the aquarium cleaning, I cleaned up one end on the inside and the outside of the small aquarium is as clean as it gets, the inside front is maybe 20% done, I think I have enough API Safe and Easy cleaner left which might be enough.

Part way done only on the right so far.

The small aquarium looks good. Black & glass are not easy to photograph.

Well thanks to the rain, two 15A GFCI electrical outlets are out in My bathrooms, I pressed the 2 buttons on each to no effect, on Friday I might be able to get both up and running, rain didn't bother them before this or after the electrician was here, I can see why the panels are put on the inside today, that would be expensive to do, worth it in the long run, but not something I can do now. All My other electrical outlets are working just fine, even the two I had installed back around 2008, I'll have to see if I need to install an extension cord or not on Friday, the one I have in mind can power a refrigerator with no problems and is laying here unused for the moment, it's a 25 foot 14 gauge cord and is rated at 15A @n 120v ac.

It may not be the rain, it could be where the two 15A breakers plug in, as some scoring had been cleaned off there, maybe that was not enough, I ordered 3 Eaton blanks just in case from the Home Depot, technically I only need 1, but they are sold in a 3 pack and the estimated delivery is Dec 11th to 12th to the Barstow Home Depot. My breaker box uses Eaton breakers.

The 2 outlets are still out, it could be the breakers are wet, it could be a pair of bad breakers, or the scoring from a CH breaker in a BR box, I have a solution for the 1st possible problem though that won't be here for a week and so I get to see about using the extension in the meantime and it's 45F outside as I type this, which means I have to get on My knees to plug in the extension cord since an outlet is behind the aquarium, that is going to be painful getting down there and getting up afterwards.

Well I went outside and found both the outer door and the inner door to the breaker box are wet, the breakers look ok and I flipped the 2 most likely breakers off and on to no effect, I'll just have to wait since there are six 15A breakers here and two are shorted for the moment, in the meantime I get to plug in that extension cord for the front bathroom so Grace can have a Her litter box back and that will be very painful for My knees and right shoulder joint. At least I have heat. And yes it seems like it's always these 2 outlets that have caused the most trouble, I might try the other 4 breakers later, though if the 4 are wet that might not do anything. The rain here at one point was coming from the East.

Ok I plugged in the extension cord for the small bathroom, hopefully by spring this will be a memory as the circuit will need have the a/c and the bathroom might trip the a/c's living room circuit, yes it's that loaded and I had intended to fix that with a new circuit for the a/c.

Update: The bathroom now has power via the extension cord.

It was a bit painful being on My knees and getting up off of My knees was a problem, but with the aid of a chair I got up, I still need to lose more weight.

My right arm is doing much better and has almost no pain now when I lift it up.

I tossed some gravy down the drain but it had been here since Thanksgiving and was separating.
I also know how to melt some sharp shredded cheddar cheese too, a few seconds in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl ought to do the trick.

I plugged in 2 orange locking Sata cables, the DVD drive is connected to an Intel 3GBs sata port, the 256GB ssd will be connected to an Intel 6GBs sata port. The DVD drive is from an HP PC that was mostly unable to be upgraded, the DVD drive read DVD's so it will hopefully work with the Vantec IDE To SATA Converter (CB-IS100).

Why the orange cables? They're what I had on hand and they lock, with 3-140mm Red Led fans they'll look red.
Soon I'll start hooking up the power cables and the 6GBs sata cable connection to the ssd.

I installed this, it's a BR blank, I still don't know which of the 3 15A breaker pairs is not working thanks to the last rain storm, I'd think it was the one above the Blank I just installed. Though it might not be.

On the way to the Home Depot My car said I have a charging system problem, I'll have to check that out and devote some money to that in January 2019. It's probably a cable problem, battery acid on the cable.

And now I have a working BLUE key fob after I figured out how to get into programming mode, if one has 2 fobs, program both at the same time or the old one won't work with the new one.

I just plugged in a StarTech DP/USB 4 way KVM Switch to power, I only have 1 cable for this at the moment, but that will change, paypal credit helped here.
The device is between the Beige bag and the Black HAF XB case on the right, and it's directly above My tall tower case.

Cant wait to exchange the 2700x to a 3700x..
I presume its possible. Want that 5Ghz boost to feed the 2080Ti better.
Of 40 seconds, 11 seconds is CPU based and that needs to be cut.

My living room and a pair of aquariums that might be going up for sale, still not as clean as I'd like, but My right arm can't do much and I just took Two 650mg 8hr tylenol caplets to quiet the pain in the arm.
If anyone wants a pair of aquariums with gravel and almost everything needed short of food, water and fish, I'd take $800 or 2 Blower type 1070Ti cards(PNY, MSI, Asus, or Nvidia FE), local pickup only, one is Glass, the smaller is not.

I did get some of the front and all of the top done, scale was no match for APT Safe & Easy, supposed to be Fish Safe too.

Box of gravel, about 125lbs...

2 boxes aquariums supplies, including an air pump, heater, 2 Nets, etc, etc, etc...

I went to Barstow to see what was wrong with the car now, the place I go to was closed, bummer, so I bought some gas for My car and some food and went home.

I worked on the front door weatherstripping today so the bugs will stay out and the heat will stay in.

The v-strip weatherstripping seems to be working, unlike My legs, I've been getting cramps in My feet, left ankle and left leg, those hurt off and on all afternoon.

Some might not understand this, but due to the heat from My psu I can walk about 30' away and have a runny nose currently, so going from a Silver rated power supply to a Gold rated power supply will save some heat and electricity use from the wall will decline, I don't know what Titanium would save vs Silver or Gold or Platinum and being a shorter psu I can mount the psu in the back instead of in the front where the psu is at now, I will have to move a fan to the forward mounting holes from the rear where a fan is at now. This is to make 300w of PC power. Titanium could be 270, maybe.

Absolute tosh - you can't get more power OUT from a PSU than you put IN.
What is happening is that in the case of the "basic" PSU the power out is probably about 250w, with the power in being >300, and the "gold" is giving the same 250w out, but only ~270w in.
Will you notice a drop of less than 20w as a reduction in heat being dumped into the room? I very much doubt it given the other heat sources you have running in and around the room. That drop will equate to less than 0.1 degree F at one yard by the time the exhaust air has mixed with the room air.

This is the full quote of a question there:

It really depends on what units you are looking at how long it will take to pay off, some units also barely miss the next level up so they may be a better value. Overall, each higher level is about 2 percentage points more efficient than the one below it at 20/50/100.

Here is some quick math for you, lets suppose you have a 500 W power supply, a system that pulls 250 W at full load, and is on 8 hour a day running at full load all the time(unrealistic but makes for much easier math), that puts your PSU at 50% load so its going to be at peak efficiency.

Power drawn from the wall:
Basic - 312.5 W
Bronze - 304.9 W
Silver - 294.1 W
Gold - 277.8 W
Platinum - 271.7 W

That means that over basic you save 7.6 W/h with bronze, 18.4 W/h with silver, 34.7 W/h with gold, and 40.8 W/h with platinum. With 8 hours a day at full load that comes out to be 1.82 kWh, 4.42 kWh, 8.33 kWh, and 9.79 kWh saved per month with bronze, silver, gold, and platinum respectively. If you pay 15 cents per kWh that means that over the course of 1 year having a platinum rated PSU over basic saves you about $17.62 so it could take quite a while to pay for the difference with energy savings alone, but in general silver rated units and up are much better quality than basic rated units.

In any case I'll be installing a 1350w Enermax Gold rated psu in this PC in the rear and it will put out less heat as the power supply will be more power efficient in the conversion of AC to DC, the Silver rated psu is about 9 years old and I can't fit it in the back and have a fan in the bottom of the case, with the 1350w or a 1500w that is going in 2 other PCs, I could since they are shorter, the heat exhaust out the front makes Me sweat unless I run a floor fan unless like now the outside temp is below 45F, the temp is currently below freezing outside.

I only used the amount I pay to Paypal Credit, which I'm entitled to do, besides whining what can you do?

Nothing.

I don't need to justify anything to you or anybody and you have no right to be judgement over Me or to try and shame Me, a newer video card saved Me money on My electric bill as the a/c has less heat inside to contend with now when the a/c was on and was reflected in lower electric bills, a new window made the house and by extension the central gas furnace and a/c more efficient, the furnace stays on for a maximum of 12 minutes now and only comes on about once an hour, oh and the furnace has its own air for the pilot light and the burner, internal air from My house is not mixed with air for the burner and is heated up to 79F, the furnace is properly vented too.

How would you like it if I criticized something of yours?

I did get one card 25% paid down, from $600 to $450 and that one card has not been used since then, then an emergency with My car happened, I had to replace an alternator and a serpentine belt, both have to be done or the belt will just slip, there went about $440, I maxed out 2 cards to get $200 paid for, its better than starving since I was told the battery would be dead if I did not replace the alternator and there is no way I can get anywhere without a car, I paid down half of that $200 already, soon I will make a $100 payment to the people who repaired My car, then next month I'll repeat that until the repair at the garage is paid off, then I'll pay on the cards again like I was before December. Right now I'm just hoping the shop did not damage My car when they at first did not replace the belt and thought the old belt would still work, as soon as I reached 60mph on the fwy and too far from a handy exit the old belt started slipping, now after a 160 mile drive on xmas the check engine soon light came on, so far the engine sounds ok, but a lack of gasoline and the holiday kept Me away from the shop and I had a cold that I got on the 26th, I tried on the 31st to go to the shop but it was closed for the weekend.

A liquid cooled PNY LC 580 outputs more heat than the Asus 970 Turbo that I use now, so there is less heat inside for the room a/c to deal with in addition to what was outside at the time and My electric bill did go down and yes the temps did not go down outside at the time(though that would have been nice if the temps outside had gone down then), I also have data going back at least a year on electrical usage courtesy of one of the billing companies in a pdf file, I'm not in the habit lying nor whining, I do something instead of whine about something and I'm not about to do nothing, I'd rather be constructive than destructive. Others here will whine about their electrical usage, while I do something about it, if a light is not need I leave it off instead of leaving a light on it's not needed, some do leave lights on and wonder why their bill is high, I already know why and the manager here agrees with Me.

An Enermax psu is a name brand psu, not the hunk of junk you bought Chris S.
