Meow!!! Gotta keep a grip on these thingys. Let's all stay in high humor whilst things are under repair. Take a tonic and do some rig maintenance...whatever. This is a project of love, devotion, and persistence. Ain't a bit of downtime gonna change that for me.....hope the rest of you understand that too. Meowhangin'loose. We have yet to find it, but we are looking. A bit of documentary. Dancing in the Dark... Might keep you interested whilst the project is in intermission. Very fine documentary on what we are doing. Meow! "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." ![]() |

I am a bit confused here ... Haveland shows assimilation on a constant rise for AP, indicating it is doing nothing at the moment. But my AP tasks (yea I still have a few) are validating and purging. Are they being assimilated at all or just thrown in the garbage? After all WU have to pass through the as assimilator before being deleted. So why what I process appears to go through the system, but the assimilator appears to not be running (according to haveland)? ![]() |

I am a bit confused here ... I think the AP database is still working, we just can't split new APs without the MB DB..? I think that's what's going on. I think. Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

I got one :) It completed in 122 seconds. Inconclusive. To overcome Heisenbergs: "You can't always get what you want / but if you try sometimes you just might find / you get what you need." -- Rolling Stones |

Lot of MB data to split but "already splitted" for AP. Wondering if it's from beginning or I missed all those splitted APs ? |

Here we go again - SSP hasn't been updated in 1.5 hours. Another false start???? I feel like the girl you told "Of course I will respect you in the morning!". |

Everything looks good here (although no assimilators running). Try ctrl-F5 |

Well, kudos to (Matt?) for losing a nice Saturday morning to get things back up and chugging. I had resigned myself to a dead weekend and shut it all down. ![]() ![]() |

Kudos for whoever pulled an early Saturday morning shift and got the main database back online and started splitting work. I left for town for an eye appointment and when I got back I saw I had an almost full load of 600 tasks. Guess my backup projects will get cold for the next few days while the resource split balancing evens out. Great job SETI@Home staff!! Glad to see working being split. Disappointed that the MB splitters still aren't up to the job. Presently splitting 25/, need a minimum of 35/s to eventually meet the demand after such an outage, let alone build up the ready-to-send buffer again. I also notice 4 channels have already ended in error. Hope this isn't a sign of further issues. EDIT- I've picked up a few VLARs, but there are tonnes & tonnes of shorties out there at the moment. Whatever you are able to get, it doesn't last long at all. EDIT- Once again, even though they show green the MB Validator & Assimilator aren't working. Their backlogs continue to grow.
