Brrr.
But in June, July and August temperatures over 30 °C (86 °F) are not rare during the day.
On July 28, 2010, Oymyakon recorded a record high temperature of 34.6 °C (94 °F),[16] yielding a temperature range of 102.3 °C (184.1 °F).

The Swedish government announced plans to establish a state-run agency aimed at protecting upcoming September elections from possible Russian meddling.
The government’s plan to set up a counter-propaganda agency was reportedly prompted by recent Russian attempts to influence the outcome of elections in France, Germany and Spain.

Blin! Russia has naval drones.
Thanks RIA Novosti for letting us know:)

@Igor
I think this article published yesterday in Russia is more to your liking :)
Путин — деспот, но не дурак

Russia’s richest have unleashed a swarm of lobbyists, consultants, and lawyers upon Washington, D.C., in recent months to help avert a looming threat to the estimated $1 trillion pile of riches they’ve stashed away outside Russia.
The cause for the open checkbooks? A list of names. Or more accurately, a document with a cinematic nickname: “The Kremlin Report.”
“No U.S. bank would go near the people named on a list like this.”
Rich Russians hold about $1 trillion outside of the country, according to a recent academic paper that put the figure at about 75 percent of Russia’s national income, or three times the size of the country’s total foreign reserves.

Interesting Religious Symbolism behind Putin.
As I have said. Tsar Putin?

I think Putin would like to be a Tsar.
His interests for old Russian traditions are well known.
Perhaps he is preparing for the Tsar coronation that is performed by the Orthodox Church.
But does Putin know what happened to the last Russian Tsar?

Oh. The shot of Putin taking a dip is probably from when Russia celebrate Epiphany Day.
Epiphany Day was actually yesterday in Russia and it's winter there now.
But religion doesn't care of the climate:)

Putin is the #1 candidate in the upcoming election in March.
The #2 candidate is Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
He also took a dip.

I dont think his nickname is Vova as Putin has.

Some stories of Russians persecuted for their social media activities.

On August 11, 2016 Ruslan uploaded a video of himself playing Pokemon Go in a church.
Shortly afterwards, he was arrested at home and charged with offending the religious feelings of believers.

A story of Alexandr Byvshev, a poet and a schoolteacher from Russia’s Oryol region who was sentenced to 300 hours of labor for posting a poem about Ukraine that criticized Russia’s annexation of Crimea.
A second new criminal case was started against Byvshev for another poem about Ukraine.

A story of an electrical engineer from the city of Tver who has been in prison for two years for his social media posts and of his family ruined by the Kremlin’s clampdown on dissent.

A story of Aleksey Kungurov, a blogger from the city of Tyumen sentenced to two years in prison for his post which criticized Russia’s bombing campaign in Syria.
