Russians are leaving Russia. “Poravalism†— or what you might describe as “Scram-osis†in English — is a new Russian word. https://themoscowtimes.com/articles/russia-suitcase-migration-putin-59713 ...former Fedral Migration Service Deputy Director and current 21st Century Migration Foundation Chairman Vyacheslav Postavnin who said that up to 15 million Russians are expected to move out of the country in the coming years. I wonder where to... |

What? A Russian ambulance in Stockholm. https://sputniknews.com/viral/201712071059785017-russian-ambulance-stockholm/ LOL. It seems that Russia have better emergency services than Sweden:) A Russian citizen who was admitted to the University Hospital in Örebro was been picked up by a Russian ambulance from a private healthcare company. After picking up the patient, the ambulance would then go via Stockholm to take the ferry to Finland. "When the ambulance drove through Stockholm, it was stopped by passers-by because a person on the sidewalk became acute sick. Our employees gave him first aid before our Swedish colleagues came to the site, "said Jalagonia to the news agency Ria Novosti. |

"We will push the button" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoRyrCjOkdI I wonder if Little Big is approved by Kremlin.... Don't think so:) When Obama was the president of the US they did this. DefenseNews: Russia’s unexpected military victory in Syria. "The West tends to ignore the success of the Russian military intervention in Syria, and pays little attention to the various aspects of Russian military activity in that country. Clearly, this is not a pleasant topic for the Western political and military observers whose predictions that Putin would get bogged down in Syria have proved wrong. Nevertheless, the victorious Russian military campaign has major implications for the future course of the Russian military machine." https://www.defensenews.com/outlook/2017/12/11/moscow-based-think-tank-director-russias-unexpected-military-victory-in-syria/ |

I'm not so sure that Kremlin thinks that it is a victory yet. "Days after Putin announces a "significant part" of Russian forces in Syria will be withdrawn, he asks parliament to ratify an agreement to expand the Russian naval base in Tartous" https://tvrain.ru/news/rossija_sozdast_v_sirii_voenno_morskuju_bazu-452730/ https://translate.google.se/translate?sl=ru&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=https%3A%2F%2Ftvrain.ru%2Fnews%2Frossija_sozdast_v_sirii_voenno_morskuju_bazu-452730%2F&edit-text=&authuser=0 According to a source close to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian group in Syria will be cut by two thirds. The exact number of soldiers and the amount of equipment that will leave Syria is still unknown. |

Hmm... But Sweden and Finland are not NATO members... Or have I missed something? http://www.bild.de/politik/ausland/bild-international/zapad-2017-english-54233658.bild.html According to the interviewed Western intelligence sources, Sweden and Finland would come under attack in the case of a real war against NATO. These attacks were also rehearsed in September. “We know that, in case of a war with NATO, Russia would not expect Sweden and Finland to remain neutral, although they are not part of NATO. Stockholm and Helsinki would allow NATO aircraft to use their airfields and so onâ€. The source alleged that most Swedish and southern Finish air fields would therefore come under Iskander missile attacks. |

Vova and Kim like to play ball. The Russian view of their neighbouring countries is very strange to say the least. Every country that Russia occupy are apparently Russian for ever. For instance Finland was part of the Russian Empire during the 19th century. But they forget that Finland was part of Sweden about for 600 years before that. And that Estonia was part of Sweden in the 17th century, then Germany. And Kaliningrad. WTF it's a German town and is called Königsberg but occupied by Russia. |

Just another example of Putin's wish to expand his power and influence outside of the present Russian borders. Just another example of the irrational thinking that grown up in the US culture. |

RAND Corporation - "The Russian way of warfare". https://www.rand.org/content/dam/rand/pubs/perspectives/PE200/PE231/RAND_PE231.pdf "Russia’s forces are primarily postured to defend their homeland, particularly key population centers and industry. There is no indication that Russia is seeking a large-scale conflict with a near-peer or peer competitor, and indeed it appears Russian leaders understand the disadvantages Russia faces in the event of a prolonged conflict with an adversary like the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)." "Russia’s military posture, capabilities, training exercises, and force structure are consistent with its declared doctrine that its military exists to defend Russia, rather than to project power globally. Russia’s historical experience of repeated invasions over the centuries has created a powerful legacy that shapes its defense and foreign policy". |

"The Russian way of warfare". Putin's Goals in Syria Went Beyond Saving Assad A Russian general's post-mortem reveals that the conflict was used to test weapons and gain combat experience. https://themoscowtimes.com/articles/putins-goals-in-syria-went-beyond-saving-assad-60121 Any military decisions Russia makes these days are made with an eye to a barely concealed conflict with the U.S. That's how the Kremlin and the Russian generals see the eastern Ukraine conflict, in which U.S. weaponry may soon be used, and, to a large extent, the Syrian one. |

"The Russian way of warfare".It will be an 'interesting' future. Yes, and it means that I have to pay more taxes so we can defend ourself:( For instance Sweden are going to buy American Patriot missiles at a cost of 1 billion USD to protect us from Russian Iskander missiles. No one knows if it works... Thats about 100 bucks per person that I would like to spend in something else. |

Yes, and it means that I have to pay more taxes so we can defend ourself:( It's impossible for Sweden to make a Trade Pact with Russia on its own no matter the reason. Sweden is part of the EU and I don't think we have any military options as well. Unless the EU agree of course... Anyway. Russia want more of the Baltic Sea. It's their strategy for more than 300 years starting with Tsar Peter the Great! He participated in the Assault League against Sweden in 1699 but was defeated by Karl XII at Narva in 1700 (see Battle of Narva) after Denmark-Norway was defeated. Peter contributed some forces that fought against Karl XII in Poland 1701-1707 and conquered 1703 Ingermanland where he founded the city of Saint Petersburg, named after his Icon Saint Peter. |
