Federal Security Service Border Service intends to build a 2m high fence near the Russian city of Donetsk in the Rostov County on the border with Ukraine.

The fence is needed to prevent illegal activities at the border, explains its representative for RIA Novosti.

The 3.22 km long fence will be under the construction contract consist of 2 m high and 2.5 m wide sections with reinforced barbed wire. The fence is being built completed before 1 December 2015.

Ukraine has previously stated that it builds Protection Agency Wall, which was then renamed to the dike, on the border with Russia. Kiev intends to complete the project in three years.

Perhaps that means that Russia will stop army equipment and heavy weapons to being sent to Ukraine.
Way to go Vova!

Hmm. There are many walls erected here in Europe now...

No. Petro Poroshenko claim that Russia may have been behind the grenade attack on the police.
I don't think so. It's Nationalists in Ukriane that are guilty.

The parties in the Ukraine conflict, known as the Normandy Group (Germany, France, Ukraine, and Russia), will meet in Paris on 2 October, following up the deal in Minsk. Already on Sunday the four foreign ministers in Berlin will meet to prepare for the summit.

The Minsk ceasefire has been broken on several occasions and a low-intensity war has always been going on in eastern Ukraine. Since September 1, however, the guns are silent.

A letter from a Swedish prosecutor indicating that Sweden is protecting Ukrainian interests is circulating in Russian media. But the letter is fake, according to experts.
http://www.svd.se/fake-swedish-letter-in-russian-media/om/sverige
Why bring Sweden into this?
– It’s part of the Russian agenda to create a picture where Sweden is part of the geopolitical ambitions of the West and therefore poses a threat.

Kremlin must be mad if they think Sweden has geopolitical ambitions!

Ukraine bans 41 international journalists and bloggers
New York, September 16, 2015 - The Committee to Protect Journalists deplores a decree signed by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko today which, according to a copy viewed by CPJ, bans at least 41 international journalists and bloggers from Ukraine for one year. The journalists and bloggers were among 388 people named as representing an "actual or potential threat to national interests, national security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine," according to news reports.
The 34 journalists and seven bloggers named in the ban come from Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The decree, which was published on the presidential website, does not explain what press coverage Ukrainian authorities deem as a threat to national security. Three BBC journalists including Moscow correspondent Steve Rosenberg were banned. In a statement, Andrew Roy, foreign editor of the BBC, called the ban "a shameful attack on media freedom," and described it as an "inexplicable measure to take against BBC journalists who are reporting the situation in Ukraine impartially and objectively," The Guardian reported.

Are Poroshenko going crazy?
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), which was taken on Sept. 2, 2015, on extending sanctions against Russia concerns over 400 individuals and 90 legal entities who are responsible for criminal actions against Ukraine.
The Guardian notes that the true motive behind Kiev's decision to blacklist journalists not been sorted out yet.

Even more absurd seem the names Antonio Pampliega and Angel Sastre in the context. There are two Spanish war correspondents who last heard of in July when they were in Aleppo in Syria. They are feared to have been kidnapped by the Islamic State, IS.

Poroshenko said the new sanctions would “strengthen the defences not only of Ukraine but of Europe as a whole, because a war is going on here”.
Europe as a whole? What do he mean?

Later on Thursday afternoon, said presidential press secretary that the three BBC journalists' names are removed from the blacklist.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry under fire for ‘incompetent’ sanctions list.
The scandal over Ukraine’s now notorious blacklist of prominent international journalists has flared up yet again, as the Foreign Ministry digs itself in deeper in trying to justify the move.
After the publication of the list of sanctioned journalists triggered international outrage, Poroshenko quickly backtracked and canceled the bans on six of them.
http://www.kyivpost.com/content/ukraine/foreign-ministry-under-fire-for-incompetent-sanctions-list-398216.html
The Committee to Protect Journalists issued a statement on Sept. 17 in which they thanked President Petro Poroshenko for removing European journalists from the list. However, they also pushed for further action.

"We are glad that Ukrainian authorities have reacted to the international outrage that the ban provoked by removing six international journalists from the list," Europe and Central Asia Program Coordinator Nina Ognianova was cited as saying in the statement.

"Now, President Poroshenko's government should remove all journalists and bloggers from the list and allow them to cover the region freely," Ognianova said.

Sept. 25, 2015. Ukraine is banning flights by Russian airlines from Oct. 25 as part of a wave of sanctions against Russia. Well it's a powerful tool but in the end it's the common people that suffers!

The sad difference between the modern Ukraine and Russia -
If the Russian will walk on a street in Russia and will shout "Ukrainians are my brothers!" - a passersby will say "Yes, so what?".

Yes it's sad.
Ukraine and Russia is very much like Norway and Sweden in the 19'th century.
Whats different though is the that we didn't start a war 1908.

Russians from Moscow are very xenophobic.
