If APs aren't split soon my cpu will have to crunch MBs, both gpus are good for a few more days. This is not a cause to whine but a small panic may ensue.

MBs are all I do with a rare AP.

Hi,
Cant remember who asked for the params of the NVI shortcut/cmd files

But heres what I got from the properties of GPU1 NVI shortcut:-

C:\temp\NV-Inspector-[Guru3D.com]\Guru3D.com\nvidiaInspector.exe -setGpuClock:0,2,540 -setMemoryClock:0,2,3505

There are no timings in the shortcuts, I expect because I run them manually..

Regards,
Cliff

?
All I can see are lots, and lots, and lots of shorties. Lots & lots.

The MB splitter output is the best it's been, probably this year (and a good part of last year).

Unfortunately we seem to be having validator/assimilator issues again- the backlogs are growing at a significant rate.

I'm down to the last 3 APs on my slow computer and the other on ran out yesterday, I have a concern that a small panic attack may occur due to a steady diet of MBs.

Some AP's were split off tape 03jl12aa. No RTS's produced. AP splitters turned off afterwards. Must have been a quick lab test. Good to know some AP work continues.

Probably previously AP-splitted tape. So no new workunits for AP.

I don't understand the MB graphs right now ... In Progress and Received are climbing while the splitting is next to nothing.

Not really strange. Work is going out faster than it can be generated.

I miss read that a little (or a lot) RTS is next to nothing, but In Progress and Received are about 10% higher than normal. Must be a hell of a pile of shorties going though.

Well, for a while there the MB splitters were doing really well.
Now they're back to struggling, badly.

And the Validation/assimilation backlogs continue to grow.

The administration/validation cue is starting to drop around 1.4 million as I write. There is mention of them being turned off in the latest tech report

Dated 1st of April
Lots of internal talks recently about the current server farm, the current database throughput situation, and looking forward to the future as we are expecting a bunch more data coming down the pike from various other sources. Dave is working is doing a bit of R&D on transitioning to a much more realistic, modern, and useful database framework, as well as adding some new functionality to the backend that will help buffer results before they go in the database, so we can still assimilate even if the database is down (like right now).
None of the above is an April Fools joke of any sort. Not that you should have read it that way.

The kitties may be sniffing some signs of impending server malaise.
Caches here are down about 10%, even though the SSP shows plenty of MB ready to send. Database inquiries are taking a very long time to respond.
And at times forum response here has been getting clunky.

Hope it is just a temporary thingy...

Think Matt might have kicked some things.
DB inquiries now responding, cache is refilling, and the cricket graph has responded nicely.

Even have a little burst of APs going out!

Something went wonky.
MB ready-to-send buffer went over by 80,000, then it plummeted to over 160,000 below it's usual low point. It's only just starting to recover now.
At the same time as the glitch, the MB validator/assimilators paused in clearing out it's backlog. Still over a million to go.
