I just noticed that several results are stuck here also. It's something which must have happened quite recently. A reboot of the download server might be needed.

Guess LHC and Einstein are gonna benefit from this as soon as the puters run out of work units. Then again, the project has all of Friday to get things fixed before the weekend. :-)

Well I just got my batch of results uploaded, took a couple of retries but they all went home:-) And got some new MB stiff to crunch as well.

But I wouldn't say that the panic is over just yet..

MB RTS has dropped in last two hours from 269K to 212K. Splitters are struggling again.

ATM 2 AP splitters have been turned on but no channels are loaded, might we get some before the weekend?

The AP splitters are "Not Running" meaning they have nothing to do. When they are listed as "Disabled" they have been shut off.
Also the status coloumn is known to lie at times showing things as "Running" when they have been disabled or are not working.

Currently at 292K....I don't think we're in panic mode yet.

Nah, the splitters have picked up again.
They were only (barely) doing 20/s, which is why the buffer dropped to less than 200,000. Since then they've managed to get back up to 35/s or so & the buffer has gone back up to just under 300,000.

Case modded
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 PSU installed.
Now I only wait for the delivery of one of these: Delock PCIe - Extension Riser Card x16 > x16, and I'll be ready to install my new ASUS R9 290X Matrix Platinum 4GB GPU.

When that's done, I'll continue to whine about the lack of APs :-)

LOL....

I've been getting an awful lot of shorties since I've updated my GPU's and started running cuda50's, not all, but a lot. Just wondering if everyone else has gotten a lot of this as well and if it's a normal thing and nothing for me to worry about. Thanks in advance for any input, fellow crunchers ;)

If APs aren't split soon my cpu will have to crunch MBs, both gpus are good for a few more days. This is not a cause to whine but a small panic may ensue.

Hi Akio,
Some tapes generate a good few shorties, its nothing new:-)

I'm quite pleased to get a shed load, I run S@H on 1 GPU and E@H on the other one, and shorties 'seem' to result in the E@H tasks running a bit faster for some reason. I get a 1hr 05 min 30 sec run when shorties are also run and 1 hr 9 mins xx sec or longer S@H wu are being run.

It may be down to CPU cycle allocation, longer tasks tie up more CPY cycles or whatever.
And I'd rather move WU that get 4k4 credit per task through faster than slower, they shure don't hurt my RAC, especially since there are no AP tasks from S@H right now,

Cheers,
Cliff,
