Hi i'm new to boinc on android, I downloaded the app for my Samsung galaxy s2 running android 4.1.2. Running seti@home fine (just slowly) But on my Hudl 2(Intel quad core) tablet running android 4.4.2, The projects list only has collatz conjecture. Managed to add set I project via URL but it won't download tasks. Also tried through a project manager (grid republic) but still no tasks. Anybody got any ideas on a fix?[/s] |

There is a problem with the SETI@Home servers - they aren't sending out work to anyone just now :-( Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Hi Rob Yeah finding that today. But the problem with my tablet has been over 3 week now. Also boinc android app won't list projects. Thanks for the heads up on the servers though. If at first you don't succeed, Then skydiving is not for you. |

...your Android last got a task on the 21st, and is (allegedly) slowly chewing its way through it... Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

I see only "Android (ARM processor)" among stock SETI@home applications: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/apps.php (I don't have any Android device) Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |

I think that's half the problem. In my account under computers the Intel atom tablet is the only one to contact the server today but has yet to download any tasks. If at first you don't succeed, Then skydiving is not for you. |

The problem seems to be with the Intel baytrail chipset or build of Android for x86, as I've now install and got working a Samsung Galaxy Tab3 running Android 4.4.2 on a ARM7 chipset no problems at all. Has anybody else got Boinc working on a Intel Baytrail Android 4.4.2 device? If at first you don't succeed, Then skydiving is not for you. |

http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=10235&postid=61712#61712 Turns out collatz is the ONLY android x86 project 😢 If at first you don't succeed, Then skydiving is not for you. |
