Interesting interview. Frank Drake still seems ever the optimist regarding the chances of detecting ET's communications. Even though recent studies indicate that radio signals emitted from earth dissipate into the background noise only a couple of LY out he still refers to the notion that radio signals from earth have reached stars out to over 100 LY. I wonder who is right. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |
