When a man carries about that much unrequited love, he can not help but be sad that somehow his life has not been all that perhaps it could have been.

And so I travel this life on my own, with Lori, my truest companion, by my side.
She knows my pain, and somehow tries to get me over it.

I hold her once in a while, and cry. And it only serves to make her love me more. Because she knows why I cry for other things I have lost and cannot have.
And because I am so happy to be in her arms.
She knows why the tears stream down my cheeks at times, and knows what is going though my mind. And has the compassion to understand my broken heart.

I do love Lori soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much for all those reasons.
