CHEERS! (Clink)

To those with the stuff to stand up to lies and innuendo.

Speaking of (clink), Zapped has been scarce lately, hopefully just busy.

Again, congrats on a successful battle, Julie.

Good for you Julie.

I used to do HR here in the USA, but now most employers want a BA degree.
As I do Tax return prep for a living, I can tell you most don't do or know anything.

What is a DE-4? Or why should a company require a new W-4 every year? If nothing changed fine, but life happens and it affects your taxes.

Sorry being way off topic.

Back on topic. Every bean soup (not green beans) should have a shot of vinegar.

Bison meat loaf for today, this should be a good one being so lean.
I like Bison steaks which to me is some of the best meat you can eat. It's not cheap but what the heck I don't buy it but once in a while for a treat. :)
The big thing is I'm a big pork lover which I got a smoking deal this week at the store with 30% off.
Cheers everybody

Bison is good if not overcooked. It dries out and becomes tasteless.

Another exotic (here anyway) is Ostrich, I tried it only once and my best description was it tasted like a wet dog smells.......not good. But maybe it was the preparation. I've had roast Porcupine(greasy but good), and Alligator(tastes like chicken), and Rattlesnake(Ditto).

Everything is in the prep and seasoning.

Ostrich is not exotic in Sweden. We even have ostrich farms here despite they come from Australia. I have been to one farm and met some ostriches.
They are not very clever animal. One started bite my shirt:)
As you say, the prep and seasoning is the key to all cooking.

Once I had whale beef from Norway. Now its very controversal but I don't understand why.

Speaking about exotic food. In South East Asia they eat eggs. Yes, eggs that have a fetus in it with feathers and all. My brother was in Laos and he first thought it was a joke. But they really like it.

btw. I'm about to walk the dog. She likes to run after Crows.
Anybody had that for dinner?
She is a poodle and they know how to find truffle.
Wish me luck:)

Careful. Not to spoil anyones appetite...
Unlike to the US population Europian racoons carries many parasites. In central Germany, for example, about 70 percent of the racoons a parasitic worm lives in small intestine. Instead in America they can have a special form of rabies that started in the 1950s in Florida and Georgia. That disease has only appeared occasionally in Europe.

If you want to eat "strange" food, do this first.

You can change "racoons" in the URL to whatever animal you like

Definite good luck on the truffles...

In American idiom "eating crow" is done mostly by our Politicians.
It happens even now........H.R.C. (sorry, that should be in Politics, but I couldn't resist the straight line).

GOOD LUCK again on the truffles.

Black truffles have one of the most incredible flavors on the face of the earth.
