Interesting mix of work at the moment. Pretty much everything my CPU is getting is a VLAR, and all the GPU is getting are shorties. There's not much in between work around at all, it's one or the other at the moment. Grant Darwin NT |

My new CPU WU are mostly VLAR, too. Whatever VLAR is :) |

Tempting fate here, but it looks like they've got the Scheduler sorted out during the outage- no Scheduler errors in my log, and the network graph is nice solid green without all the previous spikes & crevasses. EDIT- although there are issues with the Result Creation rate. It's barely been hovering above the 30/s mark. To meet demand & build up the ready-to-send buffer 35/s is the minimum these days (particularly with AP still down). Grant Darwin NT |

I suspect the creation rate is being affected from how busy vader is doing assimilations. |

FYI, No, we spoke just about AP. Latest ~ 24 hours after weekly maintenance all should run smoothly. If you have still connection problems just drop a message here. If others don't have problems, maybe it's your internet connection ...? |

Got errors fixed. For some reason the ati5 exe, was trying to run as administrator (which I am) and even after deleting it and letting it download a fresh copy it wanted to run as admin until rights were changed changed. |

Only 10,000 ready to send? Urp... Not even that many, back to zero again. MB splitters still struggling, still no ready-to-send buffer. Grant Darwin NT |

We're returning nearly 100K completed tasks per hour, and yet the number out in the field is still growing. |

The last solid news from Eric was this: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=76577&postid=1630966 And the last few words don't look that encouraging :-( He has a lot of other work to do besides SETI, and if the problems with the Astropulse database are deep seated it could be a major diagnostic and rebuild is underway, which will take a fair time (don't forget it appears to have taken the best part of a week to drag the database up the hill from the collocation site to the lab, so that's one week of three gone, then there's the hair pulling, diagnostics, scrumping around for a solution, testing it, debugging it, moving the database back down the hill, checking it, deploying it... certainly tight for one man in two weeks :-( Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

I seem to be getting a fair number of APS now. A lot more than in recent days. But they are all still resends. |

I seem to be getting a fair number of APS now. If they were sent out in late January, they'll be just hitting deadline round about now. |
