It has been a week since AP splitting and validation went away so MBs are being downloaded as the RAC declines, no panic but they just don't taste as good. I shall crunch on. |

Out of curiosity, has anyone an update on the status of the donated server to replace Bruno? "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

I currently have rigs experiencing difficulty getting through to the servers with reporting/work requests. Just had a look at my log and had a "HTTP internal sever error" on a Scheduler request only a few minutes ago. Grant Darwin NT |

Muarae is running the data-driven web pages, and ntpckr, as time allows. I'm sure it could be doing much more, at this time, but would hate to take it away from its original intentions. |

Out of curiosity, has anyone an update on the status of the donated server to replace Bruno? Pretty sure they swapped out Bruno with the spare Sun X4540 the lab had on hand a few months ago. Give Eric stated "Beta is offline until the bruno replacement is up and running." & it has been up since at least December. This is strange. I've been trying to build a MB7 App and I ran into a missing file that appears to Not be in the https://setisvn.ssl.berkeley.edu/svn repository. It's referenced in the file sqldefs.h that is in every branch except for AP7. The missing header file is int8.h. Seems AP7 uses something called sah_informix.m4, I could be wrong though. Anyway, I can't seem to find int8.h and IBM says it might be important; "The INT8 data type stores eight-byte integers in a proprietary internal format for IBM Informix..." Hmmm, Informix... So, anyone know what's up? I searched the repository pretty thoroughly and can't seem to find the needed int8.h. The sqldefs.h file says; #ifndef _SQLDEFS_H_ |

Out of curiosity, has anyone an update on the status of the donated server to replace Bruno? The S@H Validate function on Bruno has been disabled since the big crash. If it has been replaced why aren't those features restored? Not needed? "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Out of curiosity, has anyone an update on the status of the donated server to replace Bruno? There isn't much need to validate MB v6 work these days. After nearly 2 years of running MB v7 perhaps the v6 stuff will get removed at some point. It's probably on the "to do" list near fixing the Beta stats export. So no big rush. It is always possible the found Bruno stopped having CPU issues after some of the services were moved off of it & are in no rush to schedule a visit to the colo to swap out the machines. I am crunching my last 2 APs on my W7 box, MBs and near panic to follow. |

I am crunching my last 2 APs on my W7 box, MBs and near panic to follow. I still have 31 left. Almost all on the CPUs, where they take a long time to run. The kitties do manage to sniff out a resend here and there for the GPUs. Can't say how long it shall take, but AP shall return for sure. setisvn is unreachable. Yes, but I still can't find int8.h on the webpage, and after updating Xcode I still get; /Users/Tom/svn/branches/sah_v7_opt/AKv8/db/sqldefs.h:22:10: 'int8.h' file not found |

Yes, but I still can't find int8.h on the webpage, and after updating Xcode I still get; What options are you using in configure? Claggy |

Yes, but I still can't find int8.h on the webpage, and after updating Xcode I still get; Which "configure"? There are numerous configures. As far as I know it's using the defaults. The main page says, Based on Configuration File: No Configurations Set. It's reading from the Repository; Source Control Repository â—‰ svn Version 1673 Location: https://setisvn.ssl.berkeley.edu/svn/branches/sah_v7_opt/AKv8/mac_build/seti_boinc.xcodeproj One would think a file concerning Database Formats would be present in any configuration. |

One would think a file concerning Database Formats would be present in any configuration. On the other hand, what are you trying to compile? If it's just a science application for local use, why would it need to know about database formats? A server-side program like the assimilator, perhaps - but a client-side program never touches any flavour of SQL. |

One would think a file concerning Database Formats would be present in any configuration. I am following this example; I have been doing some work on the OSX OpenCL port of multibeam, and have run in to a roadblock. The code branch that I am using is setisvn sah_v7_opt/AKV8. I have gotten a successful build using xcode 5.0.2... I'm using Xcode 5.1.1 on https://setisvn.ssl.berkeley.edu/svn/branches/sah_v7_opt/AKv8/mac_build/seti_boinc.xcodeproj. |
