No real problems detected here...carry on then. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Since I have been on an AP diet I have had no credit granted for 2 days, that should be a cause for panic but I'll wait till Monday before panicking. |

After that, even I might panic. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Best wait until after Tueday's outage. Sounds like a plan. |

It is now late morning on the left coast and no APs have been validated, 3 days is cause for panic. |

It is now late morning on the left coast and no APs have been validated, 3 days is cause for panic. You panic after a mere 3 days?! How much valium did you need when AP wasn't validating for a few weeks recently? :P When something happens late Thursday or Friday the earliest I would expect the guys in the lab to look at anything would be Monday. If they have time or are even in the lab. Of course they could have been working on it over the weekend without us even knowing & it is just taking many many hours to fix whatever may be wonky. You panic after a mere 3 days?! How much valium did you need when AP wasn't validating for a few weeks recently? I was forced to live on MBs and Einstein and just this last week my modest RAC had mostly recovered. |

Now I am starting to Panic. This thread has gone very quite the last couple of days. My paranoia is growing stronger. Something bad has happened and no one in the know wants to say anything. Getting very worried. Herb |

I for one am a little concerned and excited for what the next 6 hours will bring to the AP database issues. Hopefully, for the team, that all goes well and the data base will be fully operational. |

I just happened upon something that may be of interest relating to these posts in Panic (94) .... http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=76430&postid=1635738
Take a look at the update time for the Science status page http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sci_status.html [This page generated: 4 Nov 2014, 23:30:05 UTC] |

The Science Status page only gets updated when someone in the lab finds the Tuit, and has nothing else to do. Just now with the AP database behaving badly I would expect the Tuit to be hiding at the back of a draw out of harms way. I am actually a bit surprised that with the bandwidth being used as heavily as it is work seems to be flowing OK. (MB, of course). "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

I am actually a bit surprised that with the bandwidth being used as heavily as it is work seems to be flowing OK. So far it looks like about 2 TB of data has gone out of the connection over the past 5 hours. Perhaps there is a large chunk of something getting moved to the lab for some purpose. I am actually a bit surprised that with the bandwidth being used as heavily as it is work seems to be flowing OK. It's moving out of the lab. They seem to be off loading data from the system. Could be a backup because they are going to try something special or they may be reading the data out so they can create a new data base and then write the data back. Some news would be nice. |
