I have Linux Mint 17.1 64-bit OS on a Pc with a Nvidia Geforce 210 Gpu along with a Amd Phenom 2, 64-bit, Fx 3.8 ghz quad core Cpu and even though under computing preferences I have set boinc manager to run Seti@home after 5 mins while the pc is idle tasks stay suspended instead of running. Is their a reason why this is happening? Am I missing any requirements/settings or running the wrong version of Boinc manager? Thank you. |

There is an option in your preferences that reads: Suspend work if no mouse/keyboard activity in last: X Where BOINC will stop all processing after X minutes if the keyboard and mouse aren't touched. Zero means BOINC will not stop processing work. |

There is an option in your preferences that reads: This doesn't fix the problem. County Station USA |

Do you have any screensavers or other applications active in the background that are using CPU time or the GPU? There are options in the BOINC preferences that restrict running if CPU usage is above a certain percentage also. |
