Ham shacks have always been popular, and acceptable to XYL's. They knew where their husbands were, and would be -- not infrequently -- invited in to get on the air and chat. (I was never a HAM, just DX'er, but got to know their culture via the airwaves, and a bro., who was one.). Three cheers, for the Cracker Barrel Net (West Coast)! |

Im quite happy to have a den filled with books to call a man cave. Plus I have two sheds. One of which is a secondary cave. More than once Ive taken a radio or a TV out there just to get away:) [/quote] Old James |

Having one of them at the bottom of the garden would be great. Member of the People Encouraging Niceness In Society club. |

Our whole house is a damn man cave. Its full of men and I am a lone female trying to carve a space of nice pretty things amongst a sea of beer cans and dirty socks. :'( Reality Internet Personality |

My man cave is the stereo room: a comfy chair and a couch surrounded by bookcases, CD shelves, and LP shelves. I currently have the Christmas jigsaw puzzle set up on a folding table in one corner. My wife has transit rights, to reach the lower basement and the beer fridge. |

Every man should have a man cave. :-D Ok, most might have a mortgage here. My place is paid for too, sure it's not extravagant, but it beats living on the street or under a bridge. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |
