For a while now when adding someone to my ignore list has resulted in this:

Which was fine as it still worked, the person got added. Now however for some reason only the first three digits of the user ID "goes through".

I just put you on ignore (for testing) and see no problems. Perhaps it's a problem with the browser? I use Pale Moon 25.1.0 - 64bit with Firefox emulation off.

Flippin' 'eck, yeah it's the browser. Just tried it in palemoon and it works. The browser I use is comodo dragon, currently 36.1.1.21. Not a clue why everything else works and that doesn't, weird.

So we'll have to lure someone in who's got Chrome or Chromium (or both) installed on their computer, to see if they see the same thing. I have it on the TV server, but that system is too busy with pumping over 1TB of data over the network to the IcyBox to be bothering it too much at the moment. (aka.. it's s l o w . . .)

PS: I'll forward it to Dr. Anderson. Perhaps that he can fix it anyway.

I'll give a shout out in the Cafe, see if anyone turns up.

The database field that stores ignored user IDs is 254 chars long, and Zapped has reached this limit.

The code should handle this more gracefully, or remove the limit. For now, you can un-ignore some people.

The browser is not a factor, BTW.

Yikes I've hit the limit :) Glad it's not my browser, thanks David.

So taking the average user ID as say 6 characters 254/6 = 42.333333

To quote "FORTY TWO"

Crikey do that many people actually post!!

I don't know, lol :) It's a bit lower than forty two, but of those on my filter about half no longer/have never posted, the're just on ignore to prevent them from PMing me.
