The wu's available 100% value needs to correspond with the height of the progress bar, which means that the selected wu maximum value must be divisible by the progress bar height in pixels (ensures that a single wu change is presentable).

SETIspirit is working well with Windows 10 operating systems (x86 or x64), all functions have passed my tests successfully (if you have encountered any problems with Windows 10, please report it). However, minor adjustments and enhancements for Windows 10 will be available with the next SETIspirit release, which is in development now.

all project stats

The "all projects stats" function in SETIspirit currently doesn't work for me, which seems a problem with the signature graphic download from the allprojectstats.com website (URL = "http://allprojectstats.com/sig" & <YourAllStatsID> & "j-40.png", the download fails also with a webbrowser).
 



 
I also find out, that the "BOINC all Project Stats" link found at the BOINC "Your Account" webpage does not work anymore.

Did anyone else has the same problem?

I'm getting an outdated signature graphic from all projects BOINC Total of 550,000 rather than closer to 3,000,0000 and no data from the webpage like rob describes.

My signiture Not showing S@H or Einstein or POGS.

I'm currently developing a replacement from allprojectstats.com to stats.free-dc.org (with new details like yesterday credits, world- and country rank plus world- and country rank delta) in a more readable form, but this is in a early beta phase now.

This is also the cause for the delay in releasing the next SETIspirit version.

speech output feature

The SETIspirit speech ouput feature offers the possibility of issuing specific events such as the completion of workunits, the receiving of new workunits or the discovery of new signals by voice output. Likewise, extensive status reports can be issued via voice output in configurable intervals. In addition to selecting a voice many details can be configured individually.


automatic backups of the analysis results

SETIspirit automatically backups the recorded analysis results (AnalysisResults.db) every 6 hours at 00:50h, 06:50h, 12:50h and 18:50h in a compressed backup file (AnalysisResults.zip). Previous backups will be automatically deleted. This can be very important, as the recorded analysis results cannot be recreated, if the file is damaged or lost.


free distributed computing stats

The boinc stats previously received from allprojectstats.com are now replaced by free distributed computing stats (stats.free-dc.org). You can see the original free-dc internet stats using your webbrowser, a free-dc signature graphic in a SETIspirit window or as the best option the free-dc stats in a more readable form with new details like yesterday credits, world- and country rank, world- and country rank delta in a new SETIspirit window too. The program stats and signature graphic are automatically updated every 3 hours.


SETIspirit v3.3.0 has passed all tests with Windows 10 operating systems (x86 or x64) and also works perfectly with the latest BOINC Client release 7.6.9.

SETI@home v8 with Lunactics 0.44

I've successfully tested SETIspirit v3.3.0 with the latest BOINC Manager 7.6.22 x64, installed Lunatics 0.44 apps and my AMD Radeon R9 280 graphic card with the latest video drivers Catalyst 15.8 (Radeon Software Version 16.1). The system runs smoothly without any problems.

You are right: the "recorded on", "recorded at" and "wu position" or "wu project" fields in the main form workunit monitor and sky map are empty, if seti@home v8 workunits are crunched (as I recently noticed). This will be fixed soon.

The "Autocorr", "Spikes", "Gaussians", "Pulse" and "Triplets" ads are working well, if the corresponding signals are found in the workunits (even in SETI@home v8 CPU or GPU workunits). For more support please contact me at support@setispirit.de (you can write me in German).

Test:
Exiting SETIspirit,
deleting (moving) SETIspirit.ini
and starting SETIspirit again
- generates new SETIspirit.ini with exactly the same "Garbage" lines in [BOINC Environment] section


Cause:
stdoutdae.txt do not have any line with "Starting BOINC client"
(stdoutdae.old and stdoutdae.archiv have many such lines)


Scenario:
BOINC was running for a month (SETIspirit was not running)
During that time stdoutdae.txt reached the max (8 MB per my Settings) and was renamed by BOINC to stdoutdae.old
New stdoutdae.txt was ~700 KB and did not contain lines with "Starting BOINC client"

Starting SETIspirit in this condition revealed the issue.


Remedy:
Exit SETIspirit
Restart BOINC
Start SETIspirit again

- this "fixed" the issue as now stdoutdae.txt contain line with "Starting BOINC client" (and the next info about OS, CPU, GPU, ...)

Dear BilBg,

first off all thanks for the detailed bug report you have created. I can confirm this bug, which occurs only, if...

1. the <SETIspirit.ini> file was deleted and
2. the <stdoutdae.txt> file does not contain any information about a boinc client startup

which are rare circumstances. However, I would like to improve SETIspirit in the next release to avoid this bug.
