More wondering what's inside these servers. All have the same photos of dust in strategic places, but no explanation on what's actually inside them. So either it's an expensive paper weight, or it'll just gather more dust.

Wow they are old I have crunched work off these server. 486 chipped machines long ago. and up graded as faster chips come out had to go with AMD cheaper
than Intel. now I run it at 5 MHz. Oops I guess you know how old I'm am.
I had lost a lot of points when plate forms where changed.

Not really as they would not necessarily be the servers that were involved.

Were these not the "original SETI@Home Classic servers, if so they are historical as being part of the first distributed computer project that led to BOINC.

I know when I visited The National Computer Center at Bletchely they were keen to get hold of any and all old computers especially if they had a known history.

If you buy 2 of them, you could get a glas top made engraved with a world for a top and make a really cool coffe table :D

Actually shipping isn't that bad to go over seas. there are lots of companys that ship random things, mostly in palet crates. Get it on a pallet, truck is to the boat, and off you go.

And it's a hell of a lot cheaper than a plane. Just don't expect it over night.

Except for that, this looks like a great machine.

It probably needs either the img or url tag or attribute, or possibly both, but testing it out with the Preview button only (I leave the rest for you), I noticed that when using both url and img, the left "[" became deleted when making one line of it (it ends up on two lines in the posting box, even when compressed).

If using both url and img, I guess url should come first, next img.

For now I do not know what is the correct syntax here.

BTW: Some nice pictures there in the photoalbum on Photobucket.
