You have no computers attached to your account. Perhaps you created a new one to post here instead of logging in with your existing SETI account? |

When BOINC reports the GPU is missing: 1. you either installed a new BOINC version and did so as a service. When BOINC is installed as a service, it's running in a different plane than the videocard drivers. This is a Windows security feature. Can only be remedied by uninstalling BOINC through Add/Remove programs and reinstalling it, this time in the third installer screen clicking Advanced and then taking the checkmark off of "Service Install" before continuing the installation. 2. you or Windows installed newer videocard drivers that do not have part of the required components included (CUDA, OpenCL). Can only be remedied by installing videocard drivers from the GPU manufacturer. Intel drivers download (Graphics drivers, Desktop graphics, choose CPU with GPU combo) ATI/AMD drivers nVidia drivers 3. you added a condition for your GPU in the cc_config.xml file via the <coproc/> container. Can only be remedied by removing the section from cc_config.xml and restarting BOINC. If you haven't a clue what I am talking about, it's not likely you have this problem. |
