We have a short winter here, in a few weeks spring will be here, this is a high desert, here the elevation is 1926', since there is typically less humid conditions here, the temps warm up quicker. Only when conditions are just right does this area get snow, either a trace or maybe 6" and I've seen both here and that would be in December. Rough place where you live Vic... And that's only Winter, Summer has about 110 days of 100F+ temps, last year in June the area had 2 days of 115F, the night temps were cooler, I think the night temps were about 85F on those days. Usually what I live in would be considered a hot box, I've taken the time to make living here more comfortable, but I'm only partly done on that, I've got 3 windows and 1 door to work on or replace, the windows will be replaced, the door, I don't know. For A/C to work here I'd need to get these done and then they'd be 2 window a/c units, as that's what I can legally afford, since Congress won't do diddly squat to make life easier for people like Me, since Congress evidently prefers Myth over reality in most members of Congress... It doesn't seem to matter to most online either, I had a petition online and almost no one signed, I did get 107 sigs, the sigs should be good to send to the authors of a bill to update a law that pertains to Me that is wildly out of date, but that's it.
