I was at the hardware store yesterday and to my surprise the have boxes of beer mix now, Never seen it there before so I won't have to wait for supplies when I get started. (which I hope is soon) Maybe after New Years! :) They had Stout, Ale and Logger, fair enough I can handle it. LOL I'll try one and see if I'm any good at it at all. LOL

Sounds good Grant.

The biggest problem i see is that you have to wait 12+ weeks til you can check if you like what you did.
So write down what you made so you can change what you dont like.

Cheers.

The trick may well be remembering the holidays......Good luck Mike.

A label for my Taj Mahal IPA recipe has a "Sturgeon General Warning: It has been determined that regular consumption of home brew can cause feelings of Euphoria and general Well Being."

Enjoy 'responsibly'.......what ever that means.

Hardware stores are great. They're like little treasure chests of stuff. Never seen beer supplies in mine though. :~)

Well, the store I go in has fresh popcorn for everybody, so homebrew kits wouldn't surprise me, but I wonder if they have to have a special alcohol license to sell it?

Ours had popcorn too but the health department made them take it out because it was unsupervised. I'd get a bag everytime I went in :(

as for alcohol? it's not yet so I can't see them trying them to have one.
