Astropulse units make me happy, but cuda units help to heat the house in the winter! cmon cuda! AstroPulse can be crunched by your NVidia GPU (CUDA) as well. |

Are there just no Cuda workunits available at this time? |

Cuda and CPU units are the same. If you're not getting any check your project preference and check mark the proper option. For further help post in the Q&A forum. |

Are there just no Cuda workunits available at this time? Downgrade your driver to a pre-340.xx version. ;-) Cheers. |

Hi, I am relatively new to the SETI@HOME and ASTROPULSE projects, I have noticed that when I attempt to add Astropulse work to my BIONIC system, they do not show in the "add project" screen. I did some work for Astropulse, but I had to terminate the piece due to a system problem at the time. Anyone have any Ideas about how I can add Astropulse back please? Thanks in advance |

AstroPulse is not a separate project... you don't add it to BOINC (not BIONIC). AstroPulse work will automatically be downloaded by BOINC when it fetches more work and if there's any AstroPulse in the feeder at the time of the request. |

AstroPulse work will automatically be downloaded by BOINC when it fetches more work and if there's any AstroPulse in the feeder at the time of the request. Only if you allow for Astropulse to be worked on through the Seti@Home project preferences, else you can wait quite a long time. ;-) |

AstroPulse work will automatically be downloaded by BOINC when it fetches more work and if there's any AstroPulse in the feeder at the time of the request. Heh, good point. I assumed this wasn't necessary as he had previously downloaded AP work and I doubt he unchecked it from his preferences when he said he terminated the task. More likely, in this case, it is just a simple matter of waiting for AP to be available at the time of the work fetch. |

Well there'd be more AP's out there if 3-4 AP splitters wouldn't keep working on 1 file, just like 4 of them are doing on file 07no11ai ATM. ;-) This has been going on for quite some time now. :-( Cheers. |

Well there'd be more AP's out there if 3-4 AP splitters wouldn't keep working on 1 file, just like 4 of them are doing on file 07no11ai ATM. ;-) Oh those files do complete (I'm not saying that they don't), but they do reduce the speed of the file being worked on and greatly slows the creation rate down by quite a lot. ;-) In fact I'm just waiting for file 08jn14ab (the latest file with 3 tied up) to be finished to see if those same 3 splitters decide to go and work on just 1 file again. Cheers. |

Well those 3 splitters decided to all jump on file 09mr11ag together. This is getting beyond a joke. :-( Cheers. |

For the past few days to a week, I get an alert from BOINC about new notices. When I click on alert, the BOINC astropulse manager comes up, a sidescreen of widgets with a line of code commands appears, but before I can click on the continue/cancel/etc., options at bottom, it disappears. Since it does the same each time I boot the computer I'm assuming the widget installation or whatever, is failing and thus recycles each new boot. Can anyone advise me as to what to do to fix the problem? Thanks |

This is the wrong thread to ask this question in. As this sounds like a BOINC issue, not a Seti one, I'd suggest http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_forum.php?id=10 as a better place to get an answer. Or http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_forum.php?id=10 where a lot of knowledgeable users hang out. For the past few days to a week, I get an alert from BOINC about new notices. |
