Maybe there are some Swedish talking cops in NYPD:) However CIA have been here. Repatriation of Ahmed Agiza and Muhammad al-Zery http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repatriation_of_Ahmed_Agiza_and_Muhammad_al-Zery The forced repatriation was criticised because of the danger of torture and ill treatment, and because the deportation decision was executed the same day without notifying the lawyers of the asylum seekers. The deportation was carried out by American and Egyptian personnel on Swedish ground, with Swedish servicemen apparently as passive onlookers. |

My GF told me a story when she was flying from Sweden. A police officer in full uniform came in with a man in handcuffs. The man was deported for some crime. Then the police started to order drinks! The only swedes on the plane was them and my GF. She pretended like she didnt came from Sweden... Another deportation story. A family was deported and they had a female police officer as follower. She was so drunk when they entered the plane that first the crew didn't want her onboard. |

I wonder why it's called Peacemaker and why so many civilians used it... You might look up The King - Carlisle gunfight at the Bella Union hotel on July 6, 1865.

They were not cheap. My google source listed a brand new Colt .45 Peacemaker at $17.00 US dollars in 1873. That same source also stated that cowboys were paid $1.00 US dollar a day. So you are talking about a cowboy shelling out over a half a months pay. Here is some facts 8 years old. In Sweden there are 31 legal weapons on 100 inhabitants, this means that we end up high on the list of weapons densest countries in the World. Only Finland with 56 guns per 100 people ahead of us in Europe. We Swedes end up in eighth place!Thats a half months pay. https://translate.google.se/translate?sl=sv&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fprivat.bahnhof.se%2Fwb810999arne%2Fartikel_om_illegala_vapen.html&edit-text= Illegal arms trade at the police station in Stockholm total disarray prevailed in police armories where a number of unauthorized persons had access. No control of stored weapons have been maintained. Weapons provided to go to destruction, but retained in the repository. They have been borrowed, they have been sold illegally. Several weapons from police storage has appeared in criminal context. WT presented a frightening picture of the abuses. For several years there has been illegal arms trade inside the police building on Kungsholmen in Stockholm. The state police inspector Kaj Hahne today come forward and talk about weapons handling at Stockholm police. Sensitive investigations on weapons handling have been discontinued. Documents that WT published confirms that the weapon used in the crime and that would be destroyed are saved in police armories in which the illegal trade has been going on. |

Or a horse ? I didn't mean a showdown . So your saying the shoot out at the O.K corral didn't happen ? How did Jesse James get his reputation then and what about Butch Cassidy and the sun dance kid , darn there i was liking the westerns and you tell me it didn't happen how boring .:)

I havent goolged what ammunition cost yet, But from the gist of what I have read was expensive also. Yes the cowboy got food and lodging, But he had to buy his own clothes and gear. And stop judgeing the US on Hollywood cowboy movies. Historians so far only know of one case of the showdown in the streets. And Wild Bill Hickock was the one who won. And then he got shot in the back of the head playing cards. [/quote]Old James |

My Point is that some police officers are not fit to work in the streets dealing with maniacs. yes i understand mate , i guess that is what we are seeing in America the wrong people joining the police force and the trouble . There's so many reasons why it's happening it's really going to take a lot of changes to fix .

There's your answer drunk . Nothing worse than a twit whom is drunk and saying skit like that so i don't think she went over the top . My Point is that some police officers are not fit to work in the streets dealing with maniacs. She is one of them. A former friend of mine also. He lost his job because he drank to much and got arrested for drunk and drive. |

He was very drunk and acting very foolish. There's your answer drunk . Nothing worse than a twit whom is drunk and saying skit like that so i don't think she went over the top . We have had a few people over the last couple of years king hit by someone and die and they where drunk . Now if you king hit someone and they die you get charged with murder 1 and life in prison . King hitting someone is when they hit them without provocation and when the person was not expecting it .They fall to the ground and hit there head on something and that kills them.

Janne i can't say as i can't understand what she and the guy was saying to tell if she went over the top . I dont Think it's necessary to translate to see that she is both nervous and using excess force. He was very drunk and acting very foolish. However there is also prelude to this story. He broke a shop window and was yelling "I will blow up this street". I didnt know we had terrorists in Norrland, The northen part in Sweden". At very least with his heavy accent. |

If you notice the actions of the cops there all calm and not in a flight or fight mode even when one of the guys gets real close to a cop but the cop just pushes him away . Hmmm Last summer this happened at 5 o'clock in the morning in Stockholm. The female cop is nothing but calm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Xm3F0RvIEY |

Another crazy guy with a knife.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSduY5pXy4g That one is a good example of what i'm going on about with guns . In America it would not have been a knife but a gun would most likely have been used and so you can understand why the cops are way more aggressive over there . If you notice the actions of the cops there all calm and not in a flight or fight mode even when one of the guys gets real close to a cop but the cop just pushes him away .

There are many dangerous and violent people around. Thats why police officers have guns. Clips from Stockholm and Varberg Sweden. Idiot gets shot down by police after an act of madness with the knife. An old lady dies and two others were seriously injured. One was a child. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPknu1Iuc08 Another crazy guy with a knife. He is laughing when a police officer are giving him help to stop his bleeding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSduY5pXy4g |

Note police in Australia are armed. yes Burnie they are and the cops in one state are more likely to shoot first but then they where the ones that had to be drag'd kicking and screaming to have there gun laws changed to comply with the rest of the country . And then there are the officers that just panic. Americans think we don't understand but we do here's just one reason the laws have been changed and to think a simular thing just happen'd in America aka http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milperra_massacre wiki link and http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/law-order/bikie-war-between-the-bandidos-and-comcheros-left-seven-dead-at-the-milperra-fathers-day-massacre/story-fni0ffnk-1227044179091 Herald Sun Paper report . and finally the 60 minutes report at you tube . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nFKnEwU4MI

It was cheap , easy to use and deadly , and probably got it name because when you wanted peace and quiet you just shoot the person or person's disturbing you. I see:) But it was also used by cowboys when they drew cow herds through the US. Sometimes cows break their legs and must be put to Death. |

More guns does seem to lead to more killing. "Between 2008 and 2011 there were 14 lethal shootings by police in Australia." Note police in Australia are armed. "Between 2008 and 2012 there were 9 fatal police shootings in the UK, despite having double the population of Australia . The UK primarily operates on the model of general duties police not being armed. They rely instead on backup from armed response teams if the need for lethal force arises. Authorisation to use lethal force is vested in senior officers." It is human nature, police or not, if you have a gun and feel threatened you will likely use it. Guns are a fact of life, if the majority of people in the US wish to keep laws allowing legal gun ownership that is really up to them, it is a freedom they cherish. At the same time they have to live with the fact if you allow legal guns illegal ones are much harder to find and control. So people will continue to die by both illegal and legal guns, by both police and criminals. It will take and huge shift in attitudes to change it for the better. |

It was cheap , easy to use and deadly , and probably got it name because when you wanted peace and quiet you just shoot the person or person's disturbing you . The local law person was a sheriff . who may have been appointed or elected and was paid by the local council and the Mayor was also elected and was usually the man with the most money and that meant the sheriff was possibly corrupt so no one would get arrested if you killed someone whom wasn't liked much by the towns people . Not much has changed only the weapon can now fire more rounds the police are still underpaid and the corruption is still there or at least that is what it seems like .

Introduced in 1873, no Colt revolver has earned greater fame than the Single Action Army®, The Peacemaker®. "The Gun That Won the West". I wonder why it's called Peacemaker and why so many civilians used it... |
