Hi! I have celeron g1820 dummy plugged on msi pc mate z97 mb. Windows 8.1 64 bit. It works fine with intel driver 15.33.22.64.3621 ( May 2014). But with newer ones 15.36.3.64.3907 ( August ) and 15.36.7.64.3960 ( October ) app is working for about 10 seconds, then says: "error". Strange thing: 512 mb is set from memory. It's maximum that mb allows. But, boinc somehow sees 1024mb. So, solution is to set an old driver. |

The r2061 is an older build. Have you tried a more recent app? The current build r2489 is in the Lunatics v0.43, or v0.43a windows installer. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours ![]() |

The r2061 is an older build. Have you tried a more recent app? The current build r2489 is in the Lunatics v0.43, or v0.43a windows installer. I don't recall the release notes for r2489 mentioning any changes directed towards extra driver compatibility, but I'll try the newer drivers on either my HD 4000 or HD 4600 (both 64-bit Windows 7) when I have time. On the other hand, it's good to be told that 3621 enables GPU OpenCL processing on siu77's Celeron(R) G1820 with unnumbered 'Intel HD graphics'. @ siu77 - it would be helpful if, once the SETI servers are awake again, you could let a few tasks run through to completion and validation, so that we can widen the range of supported CPUs with confidence. |
